THE BOB IS BOBBING!!! honestly such a slay, I feel like darker and shorter hair is always the move for the winter months and you look so cool with it! also love how the nails match the corset top, 10/10!!! shorter curtain bangs might help you feel less like Lord Farquaad, they'll break up the bob and frame your face differently :)
Yesss I did ask for curtain bangs but i should have got them a bit shorter because they’re basically the same length as the bob lol. If I still feel like lord farquaad next week I’ll go get them cut

I had the same feeling when I did the big chop- one second loving it and one second feeling like snape or lord farquaad. It definitely feels better after around a week, because the ends aren’t freshly cut and it doesn’t feel as unfamiliar.
Your opinion matters the most, but I will say I really do like it! The contrast it’ll bring with all the pastels in your wardrobe is gonna look so good! Definitely achieving cool girl vibes. And like you said, it’s hair- you can grow it back, and if you do want to change it again- extensions and dye will always be there. This hairstyle is definitely giving fun young girly in the city, I hope you love it ❤

Girl you look good in any hair color, it’s actually crazy (btw, try letting your hair dry naturally or flipping it to the side maybe you’ll feel more like yourself, at lest helped me when I dyed my hair)

The color is beautiful and really suits you! As for the cut, I think you just need to wash it yourself and let it dry in its natural form. I have the same thing where I feel like the salon blowdry just looks a bit off.

I went from long hair (about as long as you had it) to REALLY short (think Marisa Tomei in Only You) in May and it's the best hair-decision I ever made! I found that short hair suits me better and I feel much more like myself with this cut. Loving the short hair on you!!

Harriet, your hair transformation is absolutely STUNNING!! The shade of brown really brings out the blue in your eyes and when you put on the corset, it matched your eye color SO PERFECTLY that I GASPED at the computer!!!!! As someone who has done the short bob 10+ times over the years, just know that your hair will grow into the flippy stage verryy soon and everyone who has done a bob cut hates this phase too so it's totally normal :P I hope you have a straightener to help you flip the ends back in! Also, I notice that you may tend to lift your head up when looking at the camera so if you decide to maintain the bob, I recommend asking for a slight A-line cut (a little shorter at the back of the neck). That way when you look up, the cut looks more straight and the front looks edgier cool girl ;)
