Now I'm working on another channel of what I really love and it's going well. i’m here for years and intend to continue because 1) i like your personality and am entertained by every kind of video (even a music video of a celebrity that i don’t really know nothing about apart from the name) and 2) you have a very soothing voice. book content on youtube is not something i personally go after because i don’t really read the kinds of books people make videos about and people don’t ever make videos about the books i’m into. but i’m sure i’m in the minority and you will be able to reach a much more aligned audience and foster a nice community just like you did with fashion.

I found you through your moving to Melbourne series. I don’t watch any particular niche on yt, I really just like watching people living their lives. I just love your personality and sense of humour so I’ll be sticking around. I think it’s very important that you make videos you’re passionate about, not trying to please a specific small subset of people because that passion comes through in the video. It’s easy to become stale if you put yourself in a box.

I love all your random videos and themes, it’s so unpredictable and because of that refreshing! I think the first video I watched was your first trying on everything in my closet and I loved it, not because it was so different compared to other content, but because YOU were. And I think you still are!
Totally get the privacy part and I think no one should have to explain themselves because they want more of it. So you do you regardless of what your regular viewers expect. Your personality is what made me stick, how you talk and express yourself, your humour and that also will come across with less personal content. ❤ And honestly, I feel like I have somehow “grown” with you because you don’t hide your change, while other creators do and just stick with their old ways. I started out making tarot content and after 8 years, despite ‘succeeding’, I felt so boxed in. I felt the only way out was to leave the channel I’d worked so hard to build and start over. While I’m glad I’m out of that box and now make book content that I love, I regret the way I did it. I’m sure turning your channel ship around will have some growing pains, but I hope it goes well for you. And as much as I loved your thrifting videos, I’m obviously very here for the book content! I always felt your videos were really authentic and I loved that you weren’t a ‘fashion girly’ doing fashion videos, it made me feel like “normal” people can also enjoy fashion :) I totally understand your change though, you should follow your passions! It doesn’t make sense to do something if you aren’t passionate about it! I had the same thing I had to do on my instagram, I had a plant account and I kind of lost my motivation for that but gained a new hobby of pottery so I changed the topic of my page. It’s not easy but it feels so much better! I wish nothing but the best for you! ❤

Was trying to make a career in music and instead “following my dreams and passion”, having my rent rely on my singing made me fall out of love with it. Quitting music professionally was the scariest decision but in hindsight the best decision I’ve ever made.

I completely understand feeling stifled in your content and wanting to try something new. I got to that point with my TikTok a little over a year ago and went cold turkey on creating because I was so burned out on making my book review videos. I had the opposite problem where I really wanted to make fashion content but felt stuck in a book niche! Where reading became a chore rather than a fun thing I did to unwind because I was so worried about reading enough for my posts.
All that to say 😅 I adore your declutter videos, the closet clean outs, and I arrived here for the influencer outfit/is it a fit videos. So I hope you’ll still make those when you’re feeling inspired! But I fully support following your passions and keeping your content authentic to you, in whatever form that takes. ❤
