I’d love to find that spreadsheet you referred to. I just got my laser last week. I’m used the Epilog lasers and changing the settings works way different. Thanks for sharing this.
I didn't use anything to clean the image after engraving. The Glowforge basically just melts the glass, so it's not like there are shards or something that will hurt people if they touch it. It actually feels fairly smooth to the touch and since it's on the back of the plate, it doesn't come into contact with food or anything. After etching on the glass, I just ran it through the dishwasher & it was good to go! 😃
This was so calming and informative. Thank you for taking your time and showing step by step and the sideways lettering was such a big detail so I can remember….. so sooooo good! Bob apetit 🫶🏽
I never thought about the di!! Great idea! I’m brand new! I need help! I had to retire due to a severe injury. Need income to survive! Could you help teach me or do you have files you might share??
Congratulations on getting your Glowforge! I hope you have fun with it! 😃 I'm happy to try & help. I've got lots of videos up that hopefully you'll find helpful, so I'd definitely suggest watching them. And then I also suggest checking out the Glowforge community forum (community.glowforge.com)! That's a great place to find answers to questions & there's also a section where people share files & designs. I don't currently have any files I share, but like I said you can find free files on the forum or there are lots of Etsy shops that sell SVG files for the Glowforge. And if you just got your GF, you should also have access to some premium designs through them. Hope this helps! Good luck! 😁
@@monicascullion1030 No, I've never gotten that error message before. It looks like Glowforge has a troubleshooting article with steps to try, so hopefully that will help resolve it! support.glowforge.com/hc/en-us/articles/4524345508635-Lid-Camera-Didn-t-Take-a-Picture
Oh no! I'm sorry, but I don't have access to the spreadsheet. It was maintained by another Glowforge community member & shared by them. So they must have deleted it. 🙁
Yes! The settings I used for the glass are in the video at 3:19. And I've linked a spreadsheet in the description with other settings for other materials. 🙂

I hope you're having a great day! Thanks for being here!
Thank you sooooo much for your time and this video, i love your channel
Thank you so much for your kind comment! It made my day! 😆 I'm so happy you like it!

Thank you for your comment! I totally forgot to add that link, so thank you for reminding me! The link should be in the description now. 😄
@@book_things_and_baubles Thank you. I appreciate it.
Can this be done with an Aura?
I believe so! I haven't used the Auro, but I think it uses the same dashboard & power settings as my Glowforge. 🙂
Did you clean the broken glass out of the image? if so what did you use to clean it out?

I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for the comment! 😊
Do you have a copy of the spreadsheet? The link in your description doesn't work anymore. THANK YOU!!
I'm sorry, but I don't have a copy of the spreadsheet. It was owned by someone else & they must have deleted or made it private.
