I live in Upland and I’m glad that the downtown area is thriving. It's great with the goth style, and nostalgia crowd, you gotta love the mix. Cool people, places to shop, eat and drink. Just need more music more dancing... Partyyyyyyy down Upland!
My Grandfather was a co-owner of the Upland Feel & Fuel Company. He, along with his partner, also a relative, took the business over from their fathers in the early 1900's. I remember the store having a covered drive-thru from the front to the back. Much later in the 1960's, a feed mill was added in the back that supplied poultry feed to many of the farms in SoCal. A large fiberglass chicken was mounted at the very tip top of the mill that could be seen from afar. At 1:10 in this video, you can see the store front on the near right side. Their names were Oren Decker and Dwight Bert. ......Russell Decker
I lived in Upland , Ca. in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It's a beautiful small city. I kinda miss seeing the mountains early in the mornings. It's so beautiful seeing the mountains on a cool winter day.
I love downtown Upland!

Cool....I grew up in Upland until I was 10 or so (near Baseline and Benson), and it is much more historic than most folks think.

As a child... I remember the store from the 70s! In fact ... I still have my SCENTED MARKERS that I purchased there!!
I lived in Upland for a few years. Really miss it. Hope it endured through 2020.
When we moved there years ago, my husband and I said that Upland was a city with a small hometown feel.
Thanks for checking this out! Join us on our tour on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10am on the steps of the Cooper Musuem.

Are pretty warm climate wise
But well worth it.💖
It’s really not that special. Most of the downtown stores are closed and out of buisness
