Or, si on l'écoute attentivement, on se rend compte que c'est remarquablement bien écrit, avec une véritable richesse de palette orchestrale, une grande invention mélodique, et très difficile à exécuter (la vitesse des violons...).

I will always associate this with farce. It's face pace lends itself to comedy. In the same vein as Offenbach.
