I think most notable thing about Momonga is how he memorised and set up keybinds for 800 spells. He could be asked to cast any of the 800 spells and he could flick his finger within few seconds and go: "there you go". It takes quite brain to do that...
yeah many people forget that this dude isn't dumb. he isn't a galaxy brain and has no ideo of really ruling. but he is quick thinking. has strategy. a lot of knowledge about the game etc

I don't know how ell that was communicated in the Anime, but in the light novel Jircniv is traumatized and overwhelmed with guilt from that mass casualty incident. He vastly underestimated what Ainz could do. He just puts on a strong facade in public. The events where far beyond his imagination. During the end he was like: Ah sweet, man made horrors beyond my comprehension. He was completely broken by the display and the fact he technically asked Ainz to do this. And obviously many people put a part on the blame for that event on him. Imagine you tell someone to scare your political opponent a bit and then you witness the holocaust. Basically he was expecting expecting a bit of "rocket saber rattling, North Korea style" and he got Hiroshima at the end of WW2.
I can totally agree that Jircniv is one of the greatest ruler in the New World because he basically made his nation a superpower on his rise. He demoted the useless nobles and give opportunity to those who truly worked hard, he centralized the empire's power and made the soldiers respect him. Heck as far as I remember he had a woman who was not really stated as "ugly" but in context she is, and he was letting her to speak or have conversation with him about the political situation and other stuff regarding the nation. Meaning Jircniv has high regards to those who are truly worthy, intellectually or in military like the one who had contract with him. But, the problem is he truly underestimated Ainz in all regards and even had not seen such power from him. Heck even Ainz was trying to spy on him just to learn how to become a proper ruler (which is funny since jircniv had been traumatized and always feeling being spied on).
It is kind of sad though. If Jircniv understood Ainz does not want to really harm society and has similar philosophy in ruling, he would likely submit to him completely and work without worry of being executed for no reason. Hell, Jircniv could be made into an immortal who ruins the front of the kingdom in the further out future. Assuming his mind won't turn to hating all life in the transition anyways.
People really undervalue the respect of Ainz and how far he will go for those he respects. Look at Gazef. He stood virtually no chance against ainz without a lucky crit with a mythical weapon. Ainz could have relied on this ability to nullify physical damage, spells to rot and torture gazef, or even summoned an army of undead skeletons to act as his spear and shield. Instead he listens to Gazef and his reasoning and follows them. He faces Gazef one on one as a true equal and doesn't hold back. He even uses a spell that make sure Gazef can't be revived against his wishes. Ainz also respects Gazef to let his allied bury him and take his equipment back to the kingdom. Ainz doesn't have to do any of this, but Gazef asked him to and since he respects Gazef he is willing to do so.
Other things missed: 1) Death Orb. Hamuski is holding it in his cheek - it talks a lot. 2) Mare uses one of the World items that "collects and stores" experience at the battle of the Katse Plains- however to onlookers it looks like he is harvesting souls of the dead. 3) The elven slaves that were with that worker who entered Nazarick were not killed because they did not have a choice of coming into the tomb. She work at Aura and Mare's tree house. 4) Lastly Death Knights can talk to Ainz with telepathy.
correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the "Soul harvesting" only happen in the web novel? I believe I recall Ainz mentioning that the EXP collection explicitly DIDN'T happen, as he stated that he should've gotten 1 EXP for each kill.
Never really understood the gazick fight till now. Looking back on it though the title does make perfect sense for that fight seeing how ains rly did treat him like a high level player

As much as I remember enri was unstable when she was alone in the ln she stated that she was in control for her 'too much obedient' sister and whenever she sees that , her sister can't live her childhood due to traumatic experience and again in the ln when enri thought about all that snaps for a second when she was alone and almost chipped the knife (also sees the knife as only connection left from her dead mom) and one of her minion goblins saw that and states that the carne village doesn't have a blacksmith so they have to be careful of their tools ( this is also a reason to enri going to e rantel because she felt gracefull and shamed due to absence of tools for goblin such as armor and weapons ). I read that part of ln way too long ago so please correct me if i am wrong also such a nice content always a big fan of overlord ❤️
i get why ppl dislike those cg goats. but personally i liked them (apart from one scene where animators decided to show a close up and the animation was hideous. cg doesnt look well with them, but it gives a vibe that they dont belong to this world which was great
I have to say season 3 is kinda weak because of censorship and buget probably. But i want to add 2 things. 1. The reason why Enri is strong, because of game hidden stats. It reminds me of Warframe in a way with their hidden calculations to mods and how they work (trust me you need major in math to figure this out). So The main reason why she can summon it, because she cleared conditions in a way. May be condition to have this summon is order goblins to fight and don't participate in combat. Again Yggdrasil gave Momonga a special spell, because he wanted to cosplay as lord of the dead. It's probably one of those conditions rather that pure XP. 2. I also add that in novel Fluder reason joining Ainz was also by frustration. He was really pissed that he is "the strongest wizard" a title that he didn't really want. He inside new there is more powerfull magic, it's just everyone around him wasn't intrested in pushing it and wanted to learn form him. As he said once "he wanted someone to teach him that magic". So when someone showed up and was able to cast 7 tier spells like nothing and can use ALONE tier 10, he just dropped to the flor and gone "TEACH ME SEMPAI-SAMA!!!" Also to that he is kinda hypocrite. He is like "i don't want to waste my time to teach people when i can't research and learn better magic". Then he did exact same thing as people that ask him to when showed him 10 tier magic...

It is because he is the strongest magic caster that he can no longer learn, as there is nothing left to learn from his perspective, and it takes years for him to make any little development by himself. He likes teaching others, because he hopes that one day he can teach talented students who can reach his level or surpass him, so that they can more easily delve into the secrets of magic. He wants talented students, he founded the magic school so he doesn't have to start from scratch teaching plebs, but will gladly accept 4th tier casters. He never made it a secret that he cared about magic more than anything else, only that there was no more magic to learn, and it wad which assured Jircniv of his loyalty. Once Ainz appeared with more magic knowledge, Fluder jumped ship straight away, which shouldn't have surprised Jircniv as much as it did because he knew Fluder only cared about magic. Jircniv remembered that too late, only after his betrayel, because he was blinded by his own affection for 'gramps' and never expected Ainz to be that strong to bait Fluder away.

Emperor Jircniv is one of my favourite New World characters, and honestly, I think he behaved very well, you might even say brilliantly, when trying to approach the new existence of our supreme being. Also a lot of the meeting in Nazarick between the two just didn't carry the nuances and inner thoughts of the novel, that gave it that more weight to me. In the anime, the room had only the guardians and some of the pleiades. In the novel, it was packed full of demons, powerful undead, dragons and what else. Truly a much more intimidating sight.
How I would do the monster is just off screen where you show it but what it's capable of ik this might disappoint people but it also in encourages them to imagine it imagining is our own worse night mare

Enri is like: "Hold up, I summoned WHAT?" Going to be a weird level 100 at this rate. That many subordinates with those levels/skills/coordination is wonky. Ainz should try using some other throw away items of similar nature but higher rank. Think he does use one to summon 2 level 90 Angels when he tours the city later in the LN but they aren't permanent or something. (Item summons creatures of opposite alignment value of yourself with other restrictions?)
how many of these goblin hors does ainz have. since they come in pairs he cud basically reqruit a potential individual , make them blow the horn to summon the first 20 or so. since these horns comes in pairs he can wait and level them up to enri's level and voila, 5k goblins summoned however it's just more cost effective to raise an army of undead since goblins wud rack up the logistics and ration cost
I think he has a lot of them, cause they are a "weak" item. It would be hard to replicate the effect because Enri was grinding commander XP, plus was very nice to the goblins. Not sure if anyone can just follow her steps and do that. Also, why? 5k sub 45lvl goblins is nothing compared to what he already has or can create

I would lose the red arrows in the thumbnails though. I can't speak for everyone but if I see a red arrow I always assume poor quality content and don't click. Only reason this doesn't apply to your vids is because I already know you're quality, but not everyone knows that yet!

Enri is like: "Hold up, I summoned WHAT?" Going to be a weird level 100 at this rate. That many subordinates with those levels/skills/coordination is wonky. Ainz should try using some other throw away items of similar nature but higher rank.
Think he does use one to summon 2 level 90 Angels when he tours the city later in the LN but they aren't permanent or something. (Item summons creatures of opposite alignment value of yourself with other restrictions?)
how many of these goblin hors does ainz have. since they come in pairs he cud basically reqruit a potential individual , make them blow the horn to summon the first 20 or so. since these horns comes in pairs he can wait and level them up to enri's level and voila, 5k goblins summoned
however it's just more cost effective to raise an army of undead since goblins wud rack up the logistics and ration cost
I think he has a lot of them, cause they are a "weak" item. It would be hard to replicate the effect because Enri was grinding commander XP, plus was very nice to the goblins. Not sure if anyone can just follow her steps and do that. Also, why? 5k sub 45lvl goblins is nothing compared to what he already has or can create
