Stevie Ray Vaughn=GOAT! Even if you don't care for blues, you gotta love Stevie.
“I never heard of him”..... “That’s because this is music”. Oh, hell yea !
My buddy saw him play at his last concert at Alpine Valley, outside of Chicago. He went there to see Eric Clapton, who was the headliner and he is a huge fan of. He said that Stevie blew Clapton away that night. RIP SRV.
I can definitely believe that.
How lucky of your buddy to have seen him.
One of the few artist I wish I would have seen but never got the chance.
Actually Alpine is Northwest of Burlington Wisconsin.
Svr is the best
I saw him and Joe Cocker at Lake Compounce a month before he died. I thank God, I got the opportunity to see him once live.
Stevie is your favorite guitar player’s favorite guitar player. Jimmy Hendrix unlocked the door and Stevie kicked it in.
I second that Blaster.
The Greatest of all time Mr Stevie Ray Vaughn!
AMEN BROTHER!!!! I LIKE YOU ALREADY, YES STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN 💜💜💜 I appreciate your taste in music 💜
Thanks Shari,
Sounds like you have good taste in music also.
Cool! Normally I'm not that much into "endless" guitar solos, but he was very talented, you can really feel a lot about it. Another legend who passed way too soon.
Wow absolutely loved it guys thank you so much Hank I think she's ready for master of puppets well maybe not at least some tool would be good for starters loved Stevie gone to soon RIP Stevie you will never be forgotten 🙏
I second that Dad, he was a great musician and vocalist that was taken way too soon
I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did John, and thanks for requesting it. It helped me to convince her.
Tool and M o P sounds really good.
SRV is on of those artists that I never got to see but would have loved to.
@@humbertofarias5980 yes me neither would have love to see them the closest to lz I saw Robert plant in 93 he did a few Zeppelin song was pretty bad ass my older sister saw them with alice Cooper I believe not sure of course they were in love with Robert but anyway requested grand funk were an American band a great classic rock band anyway peace out my brother talk to you soon
Take one look at that guitar and it tells you everything you need to know about Stevie Ray. .
That guitar has been played for 16 hours a day. . 7 days a week. . Every day for 15 YEARS to look like THAT. . .

The man truly WAS a "Voodoo Child". . . a full brother to Jimi Hendrix. .
Well said Richard.
SRV ~ 🎸🐐
Must-see SRV vids:
1) Texas Flood at El Macambo
2) Life Without You at Capitol Theater
3) Voodoo Child at Starwood Theater in Nashville
4) Tightrope at Austin City Limits 1989
5) Leave My Girl Alone at Austin City Limits 1989
Totally agree
Behind the back. “Texas Flood’ Live at El Mocambo
Why tell the surprise? Texas Flood at Mocambo has been taken down immediately on at least two sites. In the last week or less. Texas Flood,at 1989 Inauguration should be ok and also Life Without You is a beautiful tribute to a mentor who died Charley Wirz. He died of a heart attack. Charley helped Stevie design one of his guitars. Stevie named the guitar Charley. He uses this guitar every time for that song. It's a white guiar. He was born in Dallas but became famous in Austin.
This was after he sobered up so probably 1987 or after. I can tell because he's wearing a cross. Keyboards were added in 1985. Reese Wynans. He plays the keyboard like Stevie on guitar.
I've seen the Texas Flood at Mocambo video, it's incredible.
I was thinking of reacting to it next, but now I'm not sure based on what you said.
Thanks for the great SRV insight though. 👍
@@humbertofarias5980 Try Texas Flood at the 1989 Inauguration. It's a little shorter but it has the same playing style which will surprise the people who haven't seen it. It should be ok
Thanks Sue,
I think I will.
As I've said before, his strings were just short of steel cables. They had to be because of his style of playing. And yet, he still broke some from time to time. RIP THE GOAT SRV !
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Copeland.. Tin Pan Alley
I’m 55 and I’ve been a fan of Stevie’s since the early Texas days. I love seeing folks now discovering him. His music is timeless. R.I.P. S.R.V.
This (shortened) version is known as Voodoo Child Slight Return. The original, studio version of Jimi's song is on his album Electric Ladyland. SRV covers it magnificently.
Yes,
I love both versions.
The GOAT!!!!💞🥵
Your brother in law knows his SRV! Great reaction! 👍🏼
He's the best period
SRV - The GOAT
This is a mild version of this song. There's several versions out there. One, for example, has SRV playing behind his back for a large chunk of the song...mind blowing of course...
Yeah, I've seen that version.
He was totally incredible.
Gotta love a guitar guy who has played it soo much that he wore off the finish on it...Great reaction guys
I always tell everyone that SRV and Double Trouble were the perfect storm, Stevie supplied the lightning, and Double Trouble supplied the thunder.
David Bowie “discovered” SRV at a music festival and recruited him to play on his album “Let’s Dance” which he did then Bowie wanted him to go on tour with him as his guitar player but SRV declined because he had his own band and wanted to play his music. He turned down a sure thing, that’s called loyalty and confidence! His older brother Jimmie was in the band The Fabulous Thunderbirds and now has his own successful solo career. His music is just as great but is definitely a more traditional blues. I got to see SRV in concert TWICE and his brother once and got to meet Jimmie Vaughan! You should check this one out by Jimmie dedicated to his brother after his death. “Six Strings Down” ruclips.net/video/36J1MUShWBQ/видео.html
Was worth watching, just to see how much you appreciated that song brother. Try to listen to the Warning. They are three sisters from Mexico that can rock out. Pick any song on any album. And you will want to hear another. Thank you for your reaction.🤘
So good...! 😁
Oh Yeah!!!!!
Thanks, guys! Great job Hank!
Thanks R R
I definitely second the motion, if youre new to SRV you must hear "Texas Flood, Live at El Mocambe" -- one of the best guitar performances ever seen, plays behind his back.
Thanks Yambo,
That will be our next SRV reaction for sure.
Jimmy Vaughan...Fabulous Thunderbirds
I love stevey ray vauhan
The guy can play
SRV was the GOAT.
And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then I'll meet you in the next one
And don't be late, don't be late
'Cause I'm a voodoo child
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child
Ironic lyrics, considering it was written by Hendrix, and both dying tragically young...Good song for both, since it seems like their talents were conjured by the supernatural.
Both sung this as their last solos ...bit spooky...at SRVs last concert stevie sung this then there was an impromtu jam so technically some would say he no im wrong but it WAS his last solo performance song an also Hendrix in germany...taken way too soon 😕
Great reaction!!!!
Thank you very much ❤
Thank you Anton,
You can't go wrong with SRV🎸
Your brother in law knows BAD ASS music!bout the best ive ever heard!great video and reaction!dan north florida. Usa.. 3/03/21
great job teach her it's time she learned the good stuff!
That's right Terry,
And there's soooooo much good stuff left for her to learn.
@@humbertofarias5980 right you are my man!
Ja, SRV was quite exceptional at playing Rock/Blues & Blues genre music. I've wondered
if he had not most often inhibited himself to only das limited compositions/playing techniques
of Blues music that possibly he could have become 1 of das 100s of Master Guitarists
around das world. Many surely miss SRV. Auf Wiedersehen :-)
This man is the GOAT...you should react to Texas Flood, it will blow your mind. Oh by the way, this is blues! 👍😎
Thanks William,
Yes, he was the GOAT, no doubt.
We did Texas Flood, one of my favorites songs of all time.

I admire the guy's passion - clearly the chick doesn't give a fuck about Stevie Ray.
his brother jimmy vaughan member of "the fabulous thunderbirds"
Jimmy Vons band was The Fabulous Thunderbirds
SVR is the GOAT
Agreed!!!
RIP SRV
Try life without you from Stevie Ray Vaughan
Please see SRV Voodoo Child - Live from Nashville!
He is from Dallas oak cliff.
RIP Stevie..... Please react to Inside Looking Out by Grand Funk Railroad.
Texas Flood. A celebration of blues
No argument there Bonfire.
That will be the next SRV reaction we'll do.
If you think this is great, try Stevie Ray Vaughn live at the el mocambo "Texas Flood"
Yeah, I've seen that video, it's incredible.
That's the next SRV reaction we'll do.
Please react to Tatler Magazine by The Struts! They are a current glam rock band that pulls a lot of influence from Queen and The Rolling Stones. Some other good songs from them are Primadonna Like Me, Kiss This, I Do It So Well, One Night Only, Could Have Been Me, and literally all their songs. You seem to be a big Queen and Freddie fan so you gotta check them out! Tatler Magazine’s video is very Queen-esque!

People who think SRV was better than Jimi are so clueless. SRV was great but Jimi was a genius. Royal Albert Hall, Woodstock, Berkeley are the best versions of this song.
React to SRV's Texas Flood live at el Mocambo
Try Steve Earl's Copperhead Road...
Epic
He played Jimi BETTER than Imi did!
Fucking bullshitter
"Top Five"??! I think you meant the greatest!!
the keyboard player was there for this show just not part of this song.
SVR was the best that will be alot of shoes too try too fill
Stevie died at the age of 35.
Yeah, way too young.
Please tell the lady not to over react
She's new to the rock world, I think Stevie blew her away.
