The average time a phone is kept is 3-4 years so saying they should improve upgradeability is nonsense. Most phones can last around five years and it is more lack of software support, what consumers download (that they should not) or how careful people are, that influences how long a phone can last. No one cares about upgradeability. As for repairs, mainly the display, this is easy for most phones and if the SoC busts replacing it will be uneconomical for most phones (average price of all phones sold is under $300). OEMs that make phones that break easy will be subject to lower demand, the downfall of LG was that their QC was bad (boot loop et al) and consumers stopped buying them.
Is it worth buying in 2023 (I want it to last for 3 years) when its price decreased? If no, what are the alternatives (good camera + great performance, suitable for gaming) in this price range (under 600 usd)?

Hi gizmochina, just a suggestion, to avoid this kind of allegations, it might be a good idea to have more dynamic shots of you handling the phone. I tried looking for proofs that the phone is real, but I couldn't find any footage where you have the screen on AND the rear side of the phone in one take. So it's hard to tell that the phone with the screen on is the 2 Pro, and the phone that looks like the 2 Pro is not a dummy. I'm not saying that you're lying, I still believe in you, I'm just saying that this can avoid this kind of allegations.

i'm seeing a lot of negative comments about the phone after watching the video, although it's not up to standard with the xiaomi 12, it's still pretty decent. if it will get a few software upadtes it'll probably be at standard, realme rushed a bit to put this phone out with the snapdragon chip so it won't be as good but that doesn't mean it's bad. the camera will probably stay pretty shit compared to xiaomi 12 but be improved a lil bit after the few software updates (prolly when improved it would be better than the gt neo). btw realme gt2 pro's antutu benchmark test was at over a mil, and am pretty sure has a better cooling system than the xiaomi12
