Love Chris with the hand joke 🤣🤣
Excellent Ian Thank you
Awesome video! I hate seeing tunnels that have been backfilled makes the curiosity so much worse!
Some tunnels were up-stairs / downstairs, but the floors were removed!
A great explore vlog folks.
1403 staircase. I was a Wren working down there in the early 1970’s in the Navy Commcen (Communications Centre). We used that staircase to get down to work and back up again every watch. They were harder after the nightwatch. The little stick figure shows how many steps were left before we got to the top & fresh air. There were two Russian Megaton weapons pointed at us the whole time I was there. We also had a galley to make drinks & cook bacon, sausage, egg and beans on the night watch. One night I took a tray with all the cups to the galley to make the ‘wets’ (tea) and some idiot jumped out at me and swiped the back of my neck with a wet cloth! While he was convulsed on the floor with laughter I was scrabbling to hold onto the tray! The toilets were down a long narrow tunnel & most of the girls took someone with them to stand outside to talk to them because of the ghosts. The sailors used to tell us ghost stories just before we had to go! We also had a WRNS (Womens Royal Naval Service) rest room in which the sailors stuck luminous eyes on the ceiling! Apparently a French soldier had hung himself down there. We had a lot of fun underground. So, it wasn’t just D Day bunkers we were there too in the late 60s and early 1970s.
Those NATO signs on the wall are from the Royal Navy ships funnel badges when they were attached to NATO deployments
There are similar WWII bunker structures under the chalk cliffs around Dover. Apparently local Kent miners made very short work of the chalk and had them excavated in a matter of a few weeks.
Let’s Go Folks!! Dover??
Greetings folks another great video
You been back again? Neil’s a cool chap, we had an awesome explore there!

Great video folks 👌
I think you found someone's airsoft arena :D
Ucap airsoft it's great fun
They could put the dingy divers in there.
great vid and it has only just started. the "chalk rock holds a lot of water. 100% these tunnels also lead into other tunnel systems all over even under the northsea.
