I wish Yuki hugged Tohru in the end vs a handshake...but, yeah, it took a *LOT* for him to admit how he saw her and to take off her honorific. Considering the tweaks the anime made, I'm still holding out hope for the hug, tho.
I've always loved this ending. The girl who, deep in her heart, just wanted a place where she belonged, carved out a space for herself using love and understanding. I'm crying right now just thinking about it.
Wow, just by looking at the preview pics and rememering the last conversation between Yuki and Tohru I started crying, I will be a mess on Monday I know. This has been an incredible journey. Having waited more than 15 years to see this animated I feel like a circle is closing. I've read tons of shoujo manga but I've never found another serie that is as good as Fruits Basket. I do hope we will be again here in the near future maybe to talk about some OVAs? I surely dream of those. However, It's been a lovely ride and I really enjoyed all your videos. Thank you!
I don’t want to say good bye as well . The bitterness of saying good bye is just how the characters feel in the story. I guess it’s gona be forever in our heart.
I'm so sad it's ending! I really hope that the anime shows Tohru's shelf of momentos with detailed photos! I'm wondering if they'll show Katsuya's face there as well! If they ever animate any OVAs or even Fruits Basket Another I will die of happiness. But I feel so blessed that we actually got to see this animated. This series has been a really defining part of my life for about 15 years... I'm so glad we all got to experience this! And I look forward to your future videos, Flora! 💕
I started reading the manga when the first anime ended 20 years ago and I'm so grateful that they remade the series to show the story how the author had intended it to be. I'm excited to see the ending but also sad at the same time. It will always be my favorite manga and now I can say its my favorite anime too! Thanks so much for your informative videos, I always knew what to look forward to each episode because you covered the manga aspect so well. It was especially helpful the final season when they started to jumble all the storylines together.
I’m happy they did a great job with the anime… some parts I wish they would have added in but alas it was only 13 episodes for the final season… booo but glad we got this.

Thank you for the breakdown! For those of us who haven’t read the manga(which I plan to) you explain so much. I’m not ready to let go either but it is a picture perfect ending! Everyone gets their happy ending and I have one question….how did I go from loathing Akito to actually liking her? I just wish her mother would fall of the nearest bridge but other than that, it looks the be a beautiful conclusion!
I'm not looking forward to the ending... I am but not 😞 ... And im kinda hoping maybe later on they do a spinoff thing but that's my hopeful wishing cuz I don't want it to end lol

I would love to have the ending music play as they pan across the shelf in the end scene and then show images of their lives after. Wedding pix, funny stills, a snapshot of a new years, and then end it with them and their kids from Another. My fingers are crossed ♡
Seriously, Flora, you could do 2 entirely new series--1) to finish your anime/manga comparisons and 2) what manga scenes Takaya-sensei left out the series. You've got 1-2 yrs worth of content--ESPECIALLY if you add 'FB Another' scenes that tie into the 'FB' ones, with character conclusions/futures.
I think you should start getting video's of another anime like edens zero or the you also catch the newest season upcoming of demon slayer it it will be definitely lonely after fruits basket end but my day will also incomplete without your voice wich gave me sufficient willingness for each episode, pleasplease!

I've had then since the early 2000s! I think they're out of print now :( you might be able to find the Tokyopop version on ebay?
