I got the ipad air m2 11 inch as it's not worth paying double for 120hz/ OLED display which u wouldn't realise unless you had the m4 pro for comparison. Thanks for confirming my decision.
Very true I was at the store few days ago and had iPad Pro 13 inch m4 vs iPad Air 11 inch and there wasn’t really any difference to me in the store could have been lighting speed was there also both models were WiFi only as well . Both very fast the only difference was the sizes …. I might go with the iPad Air just because the iPad Pro is nice but is it worth almost 3thousand dollars for me probably not for I use it for .. surfing web emails , pay bills … if people are using it for video downloading and happy then I should be happy also ..thanks for sharing
you face overheating issue with m2 11inch ipad ? I got mine like 2 weeks ago and now it's heating like hell when you take notes for continuous 10 minutes.
@@Amit_Kumar_1999 it depends on what app u are using. i use goodnotes and in 2 hrs it only took up 25% of my battery, but when i used freeform (apple made software) it used 48% of my battery in 1 hr and it overheats so quickly on the right side. also yes i have the same ipad as OP and u.
I’m loving the new 13” iPad Air, I upgraded from the 11” M1 iPad Pro and I’m so glad I did. My intention was to use it mostly as a second display for work with my MacBook and universal control. However, I now use it everyday for personal use too. I only bring my MacBook if I need to get some serious work done and everything else I do on the iPad Air. I also have the iPad mini 6 which is also great, I use this a lot as a digital notebook and e-reader. The backpack does get a bit heavy when I have to take my work setup out and about, but then I do have 2 displays to work on which not a lot of people have sitting in the office space or coffee shop. Great video ✌🏻
I was watching this vid on my phone and was thinking of the air 13 over the 11 until my 7 inch phone fell on my face and it hurts, now I know which one to go for 💀😭

I was thinking about the air first time then I was seeing some things about the pro and the air I actually prefer the pro one like for gaming and for editing studying and watching films and drawing and I just need the iPad and pencil I don’t really use the keyboard 👍🏻
it's pretty dumb that apple gets away with putting a 60hz display on an 800 dollar tablet in 2024 when 250 dollar android tablets have 120hz+
Then you’re clearly not the target audience for this product. I have this iPad, and it’s fantastic.
People who doesn't want to understand that 60 Hz for Apple is GREAT should not talk online. It's as basic to understand as it is that there are reasons why people like Android over iOS and vica versa. If you're ignorant that's your problem, don't force it on others - solve it the way you can for yourself.

This is built for the average person not someone who does intense stuff that’s why their is iPad Pro and or even a MacBook
I used my Air 2 10 years without a few months, so I don’t care about 120hz

Most important feature of the M2 airs - no PWM . The pros both the M2 mini lcd and M4 OLED have horrendous PWM flicker. Even if you aren’t consciously aware of it like PWM sensitives, there are many questions as to how healthy screens with PWM are for the eyes. That was one of the reasons that factored into my decision to go with an M2 Air instead with a tried and true Liquid Retina that has NO PWM at all.
Something I haven’t seen anyone do is a comparison of the m2 iPad Pro and an m2 iPad Air. I bought my husband a refurbished m2 iPad Pro because it seems like a better deal. I think it would be good content for you.

M2 pro was abit heavier than the new air for 11 inch. Plus the frontcam on pro is not on landscape
I'd love 120hz on these too but I would say that's one of the main things that convinces people to move up to the Pro, so don't see them changing that anytime soon.

Should I get the 13 inch air or pro?
I think atleast 90hz should be the lowest standard screen refresh rate...even if it came with 90hz that would have been nice

I came from an iPad Pro 2017 and now have the iPad Air 11… it’s great and very fast I also bought the cellular for when I’m out and about..
Did you notice a difference in latency using the Apple Pencil on 60 hz vs 120hz? I’m afraid my pencil will have noticeable lag while drawing if I get the air.
Does your iPad Air 2024 also heat up like gets warm from everyday usage? Mine does and also majority of the people with the air 2024 experience the same thing but apple says those are normal!

Does your iPad Air also heats up everyday from daily usage? Apple says that’s normal. Heats up normally like warm or very warm depending on how heavy you work? But not hot to point where you can feel burn..
just normal warm or very warm like I said depending on how much you work on it

I think m2 air is better purchase then m4 atleast for me as it is more affordable and for 120hz display and little bit better performance im not gonna pay double the money, as im purchasing it for studying and gaming and in gaming 60fps is enough in any game if it constant which m2 can easily do even in heavy games and all iphones in same price they all have 60hz display and it works perfectly as ios have always been more optimized than Android

Hate that u have them prices. The base model air 13 inch starts at 1100$ in serden and the base pro 13 inch starts at 1750$ here.

I just hope the air have Face ID, it is a bit more convenient in the large iPad screen than the Touch ID, I actually have no issue with the old home button Touch ID, but I don't like the somewhat hidden power button Touch ID. I guess apple also knows it so they intentionally design the iPad Air in that way.
Also, I like the 13 inch screen size, but I just could not see me replace a MacBook Air/Pro with the iPad with the current iPadOS, so I am considering down grade the size from my 2017 12.9 iPad Pro to perhaps iPad Air 6 11 inch or iPad Pro m1 11 inch, to save some weight for the future heavy MacBook Pro.

I would definitely go for the M2 iPad Air. It’s far superior than the 10th gen iPad. The display, processor and also Apple Intelligence (AI) features coming soon will only work with M2 Air not the 10th gen iPad

Yes in comparison to the 2018 Pro, it’ll definitely be a step up. The only thing you will miss is ProMotion

I am Computer Science college student and I already own a macbook so which ipad air model 11inch or 13 inch and also 128 or 256 which is best for note taking and reading pdf .Pls suggest me
I prefer the 13 inch. Gives more space to read and write and do split screen stuff. However it comes down to personal preference! I think 128gb is enough for note taking and PDFs

It does! It just gets a little cramped on the 11”

I think you should go for an iPad Pro based on what tasks you listed and also how you want to keep it for next 4-5 years. 256 GB is good, but 512 GB is better long term

Yup 60 hertz refresh on all iPad Air’s regardless of size

The iPad Air doesn’t have 4 speakers, does it?. I thought 2 of them are speakers, and the other 2 are microphones? If it does, I need to get mine checked out because only 2 of these are working.
