American Airlines B777-200 Flagship Business Class - Charlotte to Miami

- Saved the best for last on my way down to south Florida! A ride on American's B777-200 in Flagship Business Class...marketed as domestic First Class...from Charlotte, North Carolina to Miami, Florida! Besides the obvious lack of a decent First Class service onboard, I again really enjoyed the experience up in the front. American's super diamond business class product is really solid and from what I've heard, may even be their best product in the entire fleet (have to try Flagship First eventually!). Taking the 777 on a route that usually sees 737s and A321s was also a huge treat, especially from Charlotte which doesn't normally see domestic heavies that often...but because of COVID, that changed. The 777-200 Flagship Business is noticeably similar to the B787-9 FB and American has really done a nice job trying to mask the plane's age, but I would still have to take the Dreamliner over this bird as I like the quietness of the cabin and the more modern features of the plane itself, if only AA's flight attendants hadn't locked my windows. But, they're both honestly great. Hope you guys enjoy!

No LI Flyer here!!! YAY!!!
STOP MENTIONING ME IN THE COMMENTS! It’s CREEPY! I wish there was no Michael Sharp here!
Awesome trip report. Love the moodlight of this plane
very happy to see a more in depth review!
I absolutely love the jazz music you put into your videos. It is so relaxing.
Always a good day when a Jazz Guy video comes out
WOW. Business class is very very good.
Amother amazing report. Loved your Spanish pronunciation "boca rrratón". "Que pasa mi amigo". Always fun watching your videos!!
Man! This is luxurious! Keep up the great content Chris!
i'm doing all your flights through xpalne and fs2020, so nice !!
At first I will be honest I was not a fan of the new style of videos. But I have to admit it has grown on me and I now really enjoy them! Keep up the great work!
I appreciate it man! Really enjoying editing these as well for a change 🤙🏻
The music you had playing when taxiing to the runway reminded me of a QFS Aviaition video!
It would be crazy if San Francisco got a blizzard this winter
Your videos are the best! and they get better and better each time you upload. I also really love the voiceovers in your newer vids. And I will always be subscribed to your channel! Nicely done! 😃😃
I love that song that you played of the beginning of the video
Nice video! Very interesting that airlines would get away with using long-haul aircraft for domestic routes big or small, like this one. And shoutout to Charlotte which is where I’m originally from!
Hope I get to fly business class soon . Great video bro !!
Hi Chris, I hope you have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
Amazing video as always Chris!😸
Hey Life’s Ups and Downs!
@@BluegrassElevators hey Andrew
Me too the American airlines 777 cf6-80c2 fan engine has a great sound.
When AA uses their 777s for domestic travel they label the premium economy seats as Main Cabin Extra.
Very entertaining vid, as usual! Love the background music and pointing out the POI from the air. Biz class is so damn nice and so damn expensive for the average flyer. I've experienced it, and it spoiled me forever. I'll never fly a long haul in coach again. And the Dreamliner dims the windows?!?! As a confirmed "window seat" flyer who loves the view, and as a claustrophobic, I'm appalled they would do that! Keep up the great work thejazzguy13. 🛩
Chris, I hope you enjoying this video presentation!
I know CLT and MIA are AA hubs bud is Interesting to see a wide body aircaft for such a short flight, greetings from Costa Rica
Nice
Did you guys know that American Airbus a330 used to operate at Charlotte Douglas international Airport but they retired their last a330-200/300s in 2020
I will be flying from Shreveport Louisiana to destin Florida by way of Charlotte this week December 1st..never been to Charlotte nc Airport...
I've flown this type and in business from Miami to Dallas. Those seats are really nice. I'm hoping to try first on AA'S 77w from Miami to LAX
And one from Los Angeles to Seoul.
Knew it!
It should be cool to see a full flight from Los Angeles to Sydney.
Man ive been waiting for you to do a trip report on Americans 777. since they started flying 777s to miami i was hoping you would put out a video. Keep up the awesome content!!
They've been flying the 777 in MIA for years. They did however, start flying the 787 recently :)
@@jaimeblancopinto8130 I didn't know that. Nice to know!

Dang RIP american way mag
☺️
flying over land is usually safer?
Have you done a flight video of American B777-300ER or is that coming soon??
Water.
Curious, what the hell do you do for a living?
you know what plane really erks me? the AA american eagle. jeez they need to retire all of them!
What is the best destination for Christmas:)
Charlotte was home to the well known evangelist Billy Graham
I don't understand why they would fly a 777 for a 2 hour flight to be honest.
That's what I was thinking. I could see a 5 or 6 hour flight but I figured they use a 737-800 or something
They do this to position their aircraft for international flights and also sometimes there's a lot of cargo to carry for short hops.
CLT layout is just okay long connections good short connections bad
It’s actually great for short connections, but you wouldn’t know that since you’ve never been there. All of the terminals are all connected so you can get to each concourse very fast
Do you like to fly or you just do for work?
Yo you should start flying to smaller airports like Madison Wisconsin for example
MSN is a great airport, my grandparents live there so I go there every few months.
@@aidanpeach400 lol I’ve never been to Wisconsin I just threw a random city out there
@@randumnesss541 oh ok, still a great airport great random city lol
sad AA didnt even offer any food
Chris's next video will begin in Tampa Florida since he already posted the Silver Airways aka Pink Airways inaugural flight from Ft Lauderdale to Jacksonville to Tampa
Let’s goooo
you forgot A north 😂😂
Just a correction to your videos when saying Tail Numbers. The proper way to pronounce Tail Numbers is using the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, If you scroll over a Tail Number on Flightradar24 it will show you how to properly pronounce it. The number 9 is pronounced as Niner unless used in a Gate or Flight number without the Airline Callsign. The Airline's callsign is said in the NATO Phonetic Alphabet. For example your Aircraft's Tail Number is pronounced "NOVEMBER SEVEN NINER THREE ALPHA NOVEMBER"
That music is killing the video for me.
Interesting no Biscoffs or pretzels handed out to First Class passengers
CLT Concourse E is trash
You’ve never even been there, so your opinion doesn’t matter at all
