Wipe 5 Changes: Frost Giant Berserker - the basic attacks will now track the player so you will need to kill this mob with "forward-backwards" kiting opposed to deciding to rotate left or right around it.
@@ven8107 It's possible that they changed it again, because you are completely safe when just circling left or right (I usually go right so don't quote me on the left part) and crouching.
if you clear pyramid room first one of the doors leads down to where he is and you can fight him in the open space makes it a lot easier pus you can kill him before the blue gate opens
this guys is so cracked. the way he explains the movement and what happens if not done is so good. thank you for being a huge guide to the DaD community
another helpful tutorial from a lizard man who tried to get me to say the lusty Argonian maid in the dungeons... thanks for helping me with the yeti tutorial man, I'm sorry that I failed you :D
I love your stance on cheesing. I find that cheesing takes away from the game, but also that if I've died to a mob 10 times in a row trying to learn it, maybe cheesing so I can get used to the mob's movements and how their attacks look so I can tell what to expect based on what the mob does is very helpful if the struggle is so bad u don't even have a chance to learn anything from facing it.
What about nightmare yeti? It's so much faster and more aggressive! Also, I cannot dodge wolves for the life of me. I go to the side, and they still hit me all the time. With 99.7% move speed on a fighter.
i like found out the berseker movement myself. but alway afther like 6 dodged i get hit by and panic so i eather lose to much life and have to run or i die to a combo. i spectated uys with 130 gearscore just speed clearing inferno while i struggle with normal maps -.-
I've noticed with the Berzerker Shielder if he does the swap side attack and you take to long to go to the left he will sort of lock on and be undodgeable
With the frost bowman you can actually move around and behind them without getting hit by the bow edges if you hug them close enough as well (kind of like the frost footman) since there tracking is kind of slow with the bow shove.
thanks for the sub zam! I try to avoid class guides since in the past clas balance has swung hard on a weekly basis but things may slow down now that the game is settling into place!
@@ryan6daysaweek ah i get you! I'm just in a spot where i feel like I'm not sure when and why i should do what in a pvp fight 😂 I'm starting to get it as melee builds but as soon as i go on druid or curse warlock I'm messing everything up 😂👍 but once again great video, I've watched it a couple of times now 😎
Bro, your guides are LEGIT. Completed all my quests using this. Some guy made a good suggestion in the comments below re: using an onscreen key logger to show your inputs when you're demo'ing the dodges, which might be an easy way to make your guides even better. Just a thought. In any case, thanks again. Also, who are you on the 7th day?
@@ryan6daysaweek If you jump into a wall and use tumble you should be able flip away up and over like some Prince of Persia shit, landing behind your pursuer.

yo ryan i love your tutorials for bosses they are the best ones so far. But why is there no guide for the skeleton warlord ? is it coming or did i just miss it?
i've been going left and then right, if the yeti does a combo, but just circling right and jumping the first swing looks easier. gona have to try this out
I wouldnt mind a full video with every enemy in the ice caverns and abyss I think with the massive influx of new players one video with all the different mobs in the ice caverns and abyss would do better then having to go look for the videos. I am one of the new players xD
do you have to hit the glowy spot on the wendigo's stomach that you're hitting? or can i hit him anywhere like his head or whatever? or is it just better to hit that spot or something?
I hate the wendigo as a cleric, the weakness is its heart but the only reliable way to hit it is with a stab attack, to which from what i can tell, only the ceremeonial staffs second attack is capable of and it doesnt do a whole lot damage.
I'm only 15 hours in an these videos have dramatically improved my movement against these mobs. Now if I can just find a way to stop getting killed by players.
I keep trying to watch these and dodge stuff instead of cheese, but stuff is never the same as these videos... These skeleton archers for example. Will a portion of the time, have their attacks track me through strafing anyways....
if you are side strafing with some distance (just a spear's length away is all that is needed) the skeleton archer's arrows will not hit you. They will have active tracking during their shooting animation but it can't keep up perfectly with a moving player.
So stupid in order to dodge attacks you have to do weird obscure stuff like staring at the ground, instead of something active and explained in the game.

Is this true? Or was it true and they changed it back? Seems the same
@@ven8107 It's possible that they changed it again, because you are completely safe when just circling left or right (I usually go right so don't quote me on the left part) and crouching.
Them putting a yeti in the lift room is absolutely evil
i remembered this comment the first time i got to the lift and still got suprised by the yeti and died😖
if you clear pyramid room first one of the doors leads down to where he is and you can fight him in the open space makes it a lot easier pus you can kill him before the blue gate opens
It's because of that lift room that I ended up watching this video lol

Gloggg glockckk
get off ur knees lil bro
Bro is getting bullied for rightfully glazing this creator 😔
a key stroke recorder for WASD in the bottom left or something like that wile you're fighting them would help people alot too
Good idea
You know you say it's so much easier to doge the wendigo by kiss and kite and yet you still almost died fighting him
best DaD guides out there, keep pumping them out brother, super helpful stuff.
i hope with all these new player coming in you get the recognition you deserve

even better tip for the shielder, just go to the side he gives you his shoulder. :)
Just heard you are a really helpful guide. Was surprised to see that also recently uploaded another useful video. Thanks, man!
I hated the frost mountain before this video, i love the map now, thank you
Easiest sub of my life. Great explanations! I think the fear factor of the big mobs like the berserker and yeti makes them harder than they are lol.
another helpful tutorial from a lizard man who tried to get me to say the lusty Argonian maid in the dungeons... thanks for helping me with the yeti tutorial man, I'm sorry that I failed you :D

instead of removing cheese spots, they should simply add mechanics for enemies to jump attack or something
yea, just give the mob a upward swing so that there aren't spots it can't reach for melee combat from which a melee fighter can reach it
i was able to kill yeti by just circling right without jumping, not sure if that is MS dependent or what
Idk i dont even need to Jump on Yeti. If you have enough move speed you can just twist him and hell never punch you
W vid again, tysm for the yeti and updated berserker, u really are a huge lifesaver for everyone in this game
Great content bro very helpful

"Here is how to dodge the wendigo"

Thank you, thank you '
- A recommendation to quality of the video, is to segment the video into fights, so we can easily find what we die to
A guide on druid skips around the map would be greatly appreciated
What about the ice wolves? I keep dying to them.

Bros been lighting the way in the dark for so long. First streamer items go to Ryan, Jay, Spud and Repoze says I!
how do you dodge the nightmare harpies consistently?????
Having trouble solo cleric vs wendigo. Any suggestions? Don’t tell me to hit the heart because maces are all over head swings.
Do you think the berserker and yeti are able to be down as a pdr fighter? (We don't jump that much 😂)
Are yhe kobold just a temporary model or why do they look like goblins.... not kobolds at all
Ryan7DaysAGoat. Thank you for all your informative content, you’ll always be a huge pillar of the Dark and Darker community 🙏
Can you fight the demon berserker the same way as the Wendigo?
Thanks man! Have a great weekend

Love your videos man
Doom is tango with demons then this is salsa with monsters.
Yeti has been giving me that two piece 😂

thanks for the help!

ice harpy?
this can be found in the Ice Abyss video. Basically just side step the melee attacks and duck the gust

This map sucks. I would love to use these techniques, but every part of the map is a tight corridor. It just needs removed entirely honestly.
They removing all the cheese spots guess they only want teenages on ADHD meds to play the game cool.
those aren't kobolds, those are goblins. disappointing monster design.
commenting for the algo. top guides as always
