bro i downloaded the game like 5 days ago and remember searching up this EXACT topic, i was so confused why literally no one had made a video like this before, thank u lmao
8:21 in the case where theres other enemies along with the archer, you can position the enemy in front of the archer so they'll get hit by the arrows instead, this double as a shield and as extra damage
This is more of a meme, rather then consistent strategy as you get easily punished for not avoiding attacks if an arrow flies e.g. between the bones or melee minion attacks changing it hitbox
I've noticed even when crouching the goblin archer sometimes arch their shot upwards if they notice their shot is obstructed. Thou the skeleton archer never does this, so you can have a enemy block the skeleton archer's shots.
My friends got me into the game but allowed me to learn at my own pace, I regularly leave your video open on my phone for quick review due to the well organized chapters while solo clearing to practice my pve. Very clear and easy to memorize directions, thank you for helping me get off the floor on my waybup the skill ladder. 👍
A potentially useful tip for faster moving classes that get hit by poison against the centipede! Try holding shift to walk slowly around the centipede while you circle it. I was getting hit by the poison on my rogue and was unsure how to dodge it, but holding shift seemed to let me consistently avoid it so moving too fast might be the issue.
The attack is three balls of venom that goes to both sides and the middle, so this checks out. I'll try that today when I get online with my duel wield fighter.
@@Kai-rc6zi listen to this man, i used to rotate now the only method is to duck. if you get them on an incline and they are above you it goes right over you if you just crouch
Things I missed (so far): -Wisps remove your buffs when they hit you/explode. -Nightmare Mimics have a forward lunge, similar to the Mummy. -Since this video was made, it seems the Cockatrice was buffed tremendously in its attack speed. I can't find a consistent way to avoid it in face-to-face combat anymore. Use cheese or shields.
little addition to the goblin shaman - they always cast the heal after casting 4 projectile spells even if nobody is damaged in the vacinity. Since they usually appear with 2 meele goblins, I just pull those around a corner, finish them off and by then the shaman is casting his heal and can easily be engaged. edit: wisps seem to remove buffs when they attack or explode.
This is actually incredible, I haven't had the courage to do any high roller stuff yet so I didn't even know the dudgeon was different, heck it's gonna be a mess fighting any of these nightmare dudes
Clowd, you're the greatest of all time man. God this guide is so good, IronMace should put the link up in a tutorial section somewhere. This will save so many lives.
One tip to throw out there. You can avoid the blind from the wisp by performing a 180 spin right as the exploding animation is going off. Great video btw I learned a lot!
Lol surprised more players dont know this when games hit you with a flashbang first thing to try is looking away preemptively to see if it has any effect
For the giant centipede, if you have a fast enough weapon and movement speed, you can hit the centipede, strafe in a circle, and keep hitting it without the centipede ever attacking. Even if the centipede attacks, it'll never do the harder to dodge poison attack, only the lunge.
Excellent video, a great resource. Some points based on my experiences: - The Goblin Bolaslinger seems to have 2 attacks: one that comes out quicker and one where he charges up for a bit. I'm unsure if there is a difference in damage but they both give you the slow. This can be annoying as the quick one comes out pretty fast and easily catches you as you're repositioning after a swing. I do wonder if there is a knack to dodging bolas separate from how to dodge archers. - The Goblin mage's ranged attack tends to linger on the ground for a little bit after sometimes, I'm talking for .5-1 second, it almost doesn't seem intentional. So avoid stepping into the path where the spell lands even after it looks like it's gone away. - Also, the Goblin mage's ranged attack can slide along walls sometimes. I'm not sure what makes it splat on a wall and what makes it slide along, but just be careful popping out too early as it might slide along and hit you. - If death beetles didn't exist I'd be 10k gold richer
i died so many times to skeletons even tho i can solo berserker or cyclops(easier for me cuz patterns ez to dodge with strafing) idk how many times i died to nigtmare skeletons in inferno lmao good vid ty bruv
Yo, great vid my friend, i can imagine amount of time u spend for this amazing content we all need. May i ask you to let me translate your vid for Russian people?
Can you make a video on footstep sound distance in same room and different rooms? Running vs walking vs crouching vs crouch walking? Comparing bare feet, shoes, and boots? Ranger's Enhanced Hearing?
Great and informative video! I always get hit by the centipede's spit attack while I'm strafing and I still have no idea what I'm doing wrong lol, I guess I'm just not far enough behind it or something
I find the one near the shrine is easier to dodge the projectile by strafing. The one in the narrow hallway room I find you need strafe then jump exactly when he shoots the projectile to get above it. Unless you can get strafed until you are almost behind it.
I ususally jump the skeleton archer's second shot because it is aimed at center mass like you said. Doesn't work point blank unfortunately, but useful to know when closing the gap.
2 more important tips for the goblin shaman: 1. The projectile can sometime curve around corner so be careful not to underestimate it. 2. The most annoying thing about it is that it's currently bugged (don't think it's intended), even after the projectile hit the floor, the hitbox/damage will still linger. If you step where it went 1 sec after, you WILL get hit by it, even tho it disappeared.
@@chudwick8814 if ducking and looking down can always avoid the swings, then resting will most definitely do that since you get even lower to the ground when resting
A good way to fight the giant centipede I've found is to get it in front of you on higher ground, from there you can crouch and just dps it with a melee weapon
4:52 Why does ducking the spearman's swipe only work sometimes? Is it because the tip of his spear is slightly lower and if you're on that outside range of the swipe you get hit ducking?

When the wisp dies and explodes it removes all buff from the player
You can also turn away from the wisp to avoid the blinding affect. (Similar to cockatrice)
Not sure if you avoid the buff removal when doing this.
Thank you for condensing this video to all enemies. The editing is very good for below 2k subs. Definitely subbed.
After several hundred hours of mordhau, movement dodges like side-strafing, ducking, and jumping all feel very intuitive to execute.
The content I've been searching for a week
8:21 in the case where theres other enemies along with the archer, you can position the enemy in front of the archer so they'll get hit by the arrows instead, this double as a shield and as extra damage
This is risky but oh so rewarding especially with goblin archers.
This is more of a meme, rather then consistent strategy as you get easily punished for not avoiding attacks if an arrow flies e.g. between the bones or melee minion attacks changing it hitbox
