Adding stamina as a mechanic would do wonders for this game imo. Some characters maybe can't run as fast but got higher stamina, so they can win an engagement by "lasting longer". inb4 obvious sex joke
Those two rogues knew exactly what they were doing, too be fair. They knew they were gonna get one tapped, knew they needed to pace themselves and use up your resources. And the second guy probably knew for sure he needed to get the heck out of there ASAP. Idk why dark and darker players get such rage boners. That second rogue could've easily escaped.
I did this long ago when we had +3 all attributes on everything. I have a screenshot somewhere, but I basically had +3 all, armor pen and phys power on every piece. I believe my strength was over 100 and was just nutty. One shot everything literally.
Just a heads up guys. Pdr and armor while linked aren't the same. Also even if you get 97/98/99% armor pen, armor isn't linear scaling and people can overcap armor past the cap with pdr. So if they did what I used to do on my fighter/cleric they will have 20 to 40 or even 60% reduction after you ignore 99% armor anyway. So... Good luck.

It's not really a glass cannon. More like a cannon that takes 30 minutes to reload. It's SOOOO slow. 95% movespeed barb is painful. He still has decent health. I think this build can work, but god you have to be patient with it.
So Warmaul right click second swing does 120% damage and that item has 20% pen baseline- I wonder how close it is to double axe damage considering you give up the axe perks, but gain 10% more damage and 20% pen? That's 2 different perks you could take instead
Huh, pretty sure I did like 180 to a dummy with a windlass once. Could that have some 1 hit potential? Also i could remember wrong it could technically have been 200 dmg as well but I kinda doubt it was THAT much.
bardiche does scale with axe specialization they added it last patch or the one before and they specifically say its only listed as polearm for now but counts as an axe aswell
I really need to understand this game better, does the total armour value normally apply to getting your head swung in, or is it only the helmet stats? I didn't know the helmet still removed dmg from your swing even when you got 100% pen( unless i misunderstood that from the video)
The helmets reduce the damage and so does the armor, but the helmets never reduce the damage enough for it to be not worth getting the increased DMG from headshot Tldr: helmet reduce headshot DMG but it's still worth headshotting, armor reduces phys DMG anywhere
So, helmets have 2 stats. They have armor rating and headshot reduction rating. Armor pen goes through armor rating. Headshot reduction is calculated after the armor pen. Think like the wolf skin. He gets -10 head shot reduction even without having any armor at all.
The reason is because armor and headshot reduction are different values in the code. Armor pen just effects the Physical Damage Reduction stat. Whereas there are both projectile damage reduction and headshot damage reduction which are untouched by armor pen. The way headshot damage reduction works in this game is a little awkward. Headshots by default do 150% damage in comparison to a chest shot, however; headshot damage reduction reduces that 150% value by a flat amount. Hence, 150% - 23% (hounskull hs dmg reduction modifier) = 127% + 10% (from barbarian perk, executioner) = 137% on headshot with 100% armor pen. Armor penetration only penetrates the physical damage reduction stat, but does not effect the other two reduction stats.
I could be wrong but the damage dealt to the dummies might be miscalculated since you only factored in their original pdr but not your armor penetration from gear/weapon which would further lower their pdr
I think you should buy a few blue invisible pots and this build would cook a lot harder. Especially when dealing with those rogues you could have invispoted and then gotten them easily.
