Absolute best songwriting in here. Love this, so powerful: “I sent you to college, now go call your dad.” the waitress that he married, well she hung up the phone. She never did like me.
@@kevinc5771 Getting older, I thought I had a music addiction and couldn't understand why & how so many folks, not just had a favorite band, they nonchalantly tell you a little bit of everything, or, I don't listen to a lot of music I read a lot. I'm not sure if my imagery portrays my sadness for those who lack emotional ability to absorb melody, tempo, bassline/groove, all the instruments including vocals & meanings. I tried. LOL enjoy some other great stuff that the majority will never hear. Live on the hunt for new vibes that may reverb your thoughts to an older or fresher time.
@@kevinc5771same. Great bass, I was holding out to the end for a close up! I’d seen enough wife-beater by that point anyway. Maybe the bassist was less than “camera ready” haha
They are really young in this concert. So it says it's 12 years ago but this recording is much farther back than that. Maybe 30 years. What's with clear channel radio how come they don't play any cracker
This is one of those few songs throughout my lifetime that I have taken shit for the fact that I liked it and mentioned it, but what I cannot understand is why those who delivered or "gave shit" to me did not repent and confess this to be a classic American song as I stated it was.
Ultimate hidden gem of gems!

But I can stand on my own

This is right up there with Freebird and Stairway to Heaven for me, and I am not joking.
Love the bass on this when the lead guitar gets done with his solo

Track 99 on the CD, number 1 in... blah blah blah! Listening on 4-9-24 and still hits wonderfully! But I can stand on my own 😂❤😂
Everything about this song is fantastic.
I could not have said it better. Everything about this song is muy bueno.
I will go to my grave considering this one of the best songs of all time....
Love this song....living in Europe the last 2 years, living this dream...fck yes.
Love that guy playing lead electric killer tone
Dude sits down on the stage and kicks the ass.
Johnny Hickman. Do yourself a favor and give his solo stuff a listen.
Sweet memories of my misspent youth, Thanks to LIVE 105 SAN FRANCISCO, the best radio station EVER!! LONG LIVE THE 90'S
Love this Band!
this is such a great song !! awesome guitar work !
Heard this in Germany for the first time. Good times at the house of 3 colors in Stutgart
Makes me wonder what the rest of that story was. Germany?
the character of Johnny will be played by John Oates tonight. and I gotta get me one of those Cracker hats. flat bill.
John Oates - hahahhahaha!
To those of us with Germanic backgrounds, I.E. Crackers, this would be a Saga.
not even 3k views? and beyonce's kid has its own video on vevo right below this. sigh. i hate my generation.
Don't we all. Celebrities aren't humans. Generation x is just as bad. We only give a fuck about ourselves!
Me too. I feel sorry for us.
Richard Greco wants to be Johnny Hickman.
O hell yes. Lol.
Anyone tabbed the opening solo? Get yer sht kickers on.

Ogden show from 93? With bass player from Poi Dog???
And Pixies’ David Lovering on drums.
Maybe they should cover Beez In The Trap?
Do they have an Uncle Cracker? 😆

If you need a tab to cop this, you need some lessons.
Clean version pleaz ~
This isn't my music (Mozart is) but I LUV this trash!
Less of a song, and more of a ditty.
