@@zekemedia1310 You're correct, I should have said South Central upstate NY, down to the Central Southern Tier, west of I-81, down to the northern portions of PA. That's a big area. I've seen forecasts from the NWS predicting flash floods for the next day, only to have sprinkles to no ran at all that day. I have noticed all the rain in northern NY, but you guys get the heavy lake effect snows too, I would imagine.
Question. So if the eye stays West of Cuba but all the outer bands on the East side hit Cuba that wont weaken it? In other words, the eye would have to directly hit Cuba for it to weaken it?

All rains of any consequence seem to be blocked out of NY state for months now.
Where I live we have had a lot of rain the creeks and rivers are full and the ground is very moist to muddy . This in Herkimer county
