Don Carlo is the GOAT manager, no question. You can give him a squad and he'll make it work. Pep needs to assemble his own squad to make it work. Both are great, but Carlo is the goat.
El Don is proven to and managed multiple clubs. I can’t consider Pep the Goat until he goes to a club without unlimited money. Go to Italy and take a Milan team to glory.
He was given the Bayern squad and got sacked
Disagree. Carlo is good at clubs where the team and culture is already there. Where he "only" needs to layout a gameplan, manage the personalities, and make sure the squad plays as one team. I have not seen him turn a club into a European top level club that was not at that level before. Klopp and Pep managed to turn a club into UCL winning clubs where it required a change of culture, structure, mentality, scouting, youth development, etc. I am not saying it is easier what Carlo did at Real or that Pep and Klopp are better, they are just different and their results are hard to compare.
@@seanm2071 likewise pep
to me Pep is overrated to be the greatest coach people say he revolutionized football, but he used what Cruyff created so Cruyff is the revolutionary not him
3 with Madrid and 2 with AC Milan what an achievement....
Don Carlo at his best
16th 17th 18th incoming.....
And 2 as player

Against Real Madrid as well lol
No doubt, next year or at least within two years he will lift 16th, in man city kdb got old, bernardo silva leaving and haaland flopped. In Payer munich no good manager on ucl level. Klopp left liverpool. So real madrid have chance to win next two years.
He’s just the Best Ever ❤️
This season been so incredible for Real Madrid
despite the injuries too!
jus wished we didn’t like the copa del rey slip . a treble woulda been crazy
yeah what a season man! also the la liga. only one loss is very impressive. do you know madrids current unbeaten run in all comps? :)
99% of managers would have made a sub or two to start second half. Not Carlo. He didnt sub until 85 min 2:0 up. He understood problem was tactics , not the players
Incredible manager Don Carloancelotti
Excellent analysis. Carlo is probably the Best man manager of this generation - his humility is what stands out. In one of his post match press con 11:29 ferences he admitted getting the teams input on the change of formation, now that's real humility. 🎉🎉
the other guy tryynna downplay carlo
They even forget to mention that the injuries they had. Militao, alaba. Curtio, you mention but he manage to win and rotate player. Sometimes even midfielder playing defence. That forget to mention that. He had a lot of excuses.
Don't forget another midfielder playing in the attack as well
Well, Ancelotti is definitely the greatest UCL manager, for sure.
Won 5 UCL titles in 6 finals appearances, which is a record.
If that qualifies him to be the greatest football/soccer manager ever, then so be it.
Johan Cruyff
@@martindoykin Johan Cruyff?
A manager who have best team squad in that era but got destroyed by AC Milan with many injured and suspend player on 94 UCL final?
Gimme a break.
Why these pundits saying Real Madrid were not the best team in UCL yet they still won it? Let me be clear…they have zero losses in this competition. Only 1 loss in LaLiga and 1 in Copa Del Rey total of 2 losses this season across all competitions. This guy says city dominated 2nd game I’ll tell you to check the stats again they had same amount of big chances to score (FutMob) city had more possession and passing the ball around. Real Madrid were patient and defended like champions. So moral of the story is don’t never ever talk bad about
Real Madrid they completely deserve to win 🥇 seeing how injures affected them and not having a true no. 9 and adapt to new formation so..
Let's not forget that first half of the final, with very clear opportunities (the first especially) to score for Dortmund. That's why.
@@balisaani yeah first half is only half of the story second half was completely different in the end experience reigned
They were right tho, Real Madrid wasn't the best in the UCL, while I agree not losing a game is pretty iconic, just looking at stats doesn't tell the full story, they got dominated in several games, but here's the thing, you don't have to be the best team in football, because football isn't that predictable, you have to put away your chances and that's the mistake every team did when facing Real Madrid, they kept them alive by missing their chances. Real Madrid doesn't have to dominate every game, it's great when they do because we see their best version, but Real Madrid know that all they need is 1 chance and they'll more than likely put it away, where other teams need 5 chances and probably still not make it.
@@MaxpowerAF7 like I said factor in injuries and players playing out of their positions and adapting to new positions and situations and not having a true Number 9 all matters. Not losing a game and winning the champions league is not just iconic it’s the best and they were and are the best. Tell me another deserves it more than Real Madrid and don’t even try saying Manchester city because they play best football, playing that way doesn’t make you the best, what makes you the best is winning titles i don’t care how beautiful you play important thing is scoring and winning and try to defend. Like Sir Alex Ferguson said scoring wins you games defending wins you championships.
I'll tell you what it is: many players are Real Madrid fans since they are kids, so when they finally play for Real Madrid, they truly give everything they have. Of course Real Madrid also pays well, but typically offers lowers salaries than other clubs.
You are making a point
Vini is the best player in the world by miles..
Hope he plays well in Copa America to cement the d'Or
He absolutely deserves it more than anyone suffice Mbappe's France doesn't win the Euros (which i don't think it's possible) 👀
No matter about the copa America he should have win it if not him WHO would be?
@@mebrahtomgebremeskel5307 If Germany wins the Euros, Kroos deserves it. Football is about more than goals.
What if Jude leads England to a successful Euro run? Jude carried Real Madrid during the 1st half of the season, scoring & assisting more than Vini (who missed over a month with injuries) this season. Vini had an amazing 2nd half to catch to his teammate. Both players played new positions this year but it was Jude excelled at 1st
Unless someone surpass Ancelotti in the # of CL trophies he is the best. At the end of the day the Championsleague is the biggest competition in club football. If a player gets 5 world cup he is easily the best player ever, Ancelotti has 5 CL as a coach he is easily the best coach ever until someone unseats him.
Sooo by your logic Pele is better than Messi? Im not arguing against it
@@hankagura5355 I am ok with that. I just don't wanna start a debate over Messi Ronaldo etcs...again just sick of these topics with fan girls and boys.
@@-ACE. I agree its just those fanboys you talked about pretend Pele doesnt exist and its quite annoying but oh well true football fans know

For the first time English pundits fairly analyzing football without bias, kudos to you
They are American.
I love Fergie, I respect Pep, but Don Carlo is HIM. League titles in 5 different leagues, 5 UCLs.
If you’ve got ever watched the Godfather, Ancelotti’s style is more like Don Vito while Pep Guardiola is more like Micheal Corleone. Don Vito can joke around and lead and is beloved and respected while Micheal doesn’t want anyone acting up or he’ll make an example out of you for testing his authority. He’s more feared.
Pep is Sonny.
He's the best ever❤❤❤
Johan Cruyff
Perez and Carlo kept some veterans on boat (Modric, Kroos, Carvajal etc.) while they let go of some of the more extravagant characters (CR7, Ramos, Casemiro). Thats how quality not just in football skills, but in character gets perpetuated to the younger generations.
Thierry Henry said it best: Real Madrid know when to let people go (CR7, Ramos, Casemiro, Benzema) at exactly the right time.
Spot on
Don is the GOAT
Johan Cruyff
Never seen this analyst team before. First time. Impressed with nuanced analysis without such blatant biases. But Pep has won with cheating organizations across his career and you can’t take skewed stats seriously and have to nullify a lot of his so called achievements. To win when you’re not playing well is a skill in itself. Real Madrid know how to win and that’s hard to measure. Well maybe not so hard #aporla16
Nigel is a very smart man
i love carlos calmness during the games. he never really goes into panic mode. and i think the players remain calm as well. the team can get the job done, even if its in the 86th minute or whatever. i dont like when managers acting crazy and throwing tantrums. like Xavi does for barca, or simeone from atletico, sometimes arteta from arsenal.. etc etc. if you know you know. but carlo just have a different approach to football. i respect him a lot. he knows how to win. carlo knows what hes doing thats for sure. Hala madrid!
How can anyone claim that Ancelotti is the best ever but still not know that he's won all of the top 5 leagues.
I'm so sick of Real, can't stand them. But yes, Ancelotti is the best manager and Vinicius Jr. is the best winger in the world at the moment.
Get used to it
lol 😂 😂😂😂😂 get ready for being sick for long time. 😂😂😂😂
God is a Real Madrid supporter. God saved them so many times
Courtois made four world class saves - one just by standing his ground, and then stretching his full height on the pitch at the right time - that's gotta count for something.
The Best Comment
He fit Bellingham well into squad first year. Had to deal with injuries in CB alaba/ militao and GK position courtois all season
rotated squad well..sometimes he was force to play tchoumeni as CB . and he made well timed super subs like joselu ..
That was excellent commentary - impressive really - from all four of them. CBS Sports knows how to hire talent.
He has won in all top 4 leagues. La Liga, EPL, Ligue 1 and Serie A
Also take into account the injuries we had this season. Even Kepa our second keeper (on loan from Chelski) got injured. :'D Don Carlo made it work.
Carlo is the greatest
And to have overcome countless injuries to his players is remarkable.
Won the league title in Italy, England, Spain, France & Germany.
a night to remember in wembley london. great job team white real madrid
The way Don Carlo managed those 37 injuries should not be overlooked
Don Carlo is the real deal. Criticise all you like, in the end he gets the result and does more than all the showboat contemporaries.
Xabi Alonso, or Zizou and then Xabi will be the next wave of managers after Carlo. RM have legacy and continuity already in place at all levels but the President. No one can properly replace Florentino Perez. He is the true GOAT. 🐐
Let’s not forget that they won their 15th champions league remaining undefeated in the champions league in its entirety this past season. Pure class 👏👏👏
Yes, he is
respect to nigel stilllll
9:52 where did he win 2 dfb pokal?
Although I want to see him joining training sessions on the chopper again 😂 (only the ogs knows it)
11:02 bro is getting some slop right after this
5 UCL Trophies and won the League title in ALL Top 5 Leagues. Carlo Ancelotti. Comparisons aside, that is just madly impressive. Give the man the respect he deserves.
Did that guy really compare Kalvin phillips with Ronaldo??
I have to say, the blonde woman (probably the host) is amazingly articulate when it comes to football.. She nailed everything, I am very impressed! This is my football news channel from now on!
When Ancelotti won his first one Jude Bellingham was not even born
He is the best
Yall made a mistake. He(carlo) won all 5 domestic leagues in top 5 of Europe. Stay woke.
RUclips are a lier, the real madrid in the summer talk whith psg to Pay transfer if killiam sign in 2023 and psg prefered didnt Takeshi the money in order to press kiliam extend the contract, real and killiam want pay the transfer but psg say no
He won the premier league too
Why does it say terzic is a 2x bundesliga champion ?
Hi❤❤❤
Now
#APORLA 16 🏆
You people keep forgetting That a game is 90 minutes
IMO the best ever manager has to be Ancelotti, after him its Sir Alex Ferguson, 3rd place its Jose "The special one" Mourinho, 4th place Zinedine Zidane, 5th place Jurgen Klopp and last but not least Pep Guardiola at 100th place.
Some of you probably wonder why i put Pep last and the short answer is because i dont like him, i dont like his robotic tactics and they way he treat players (for example Ibrahimovic, Yaya Toure, Eto, Aguero and etc). I will never forgive him for ruining Götzes career, Pepe literally ruined him with his shitty robotic tactics at Bayern and now he is making Grealish in my opinion worse than he was in Aston Villa.
Brother did you just compare Ronaldo to Kalvin Phillips?
best in the world
charlie doesn’t know nothing 😂😂😂
Propaaa- haha
Premier league too
something is always off when you hear americans talking about football hahahahah..kidding
There is no such thing as the best manager ever. If Madrid didn't call him back he would be at Everton winning nothing and nobody would be having this conversation. Zidane is not the best manager and he won 3 CL in a row. There is only Real Madrid, the best club in history.
No
He is the best ever for now..
Pep can surpass him tho
It is incredible that England has won the second most Champions Leagues, only 5 less than Spain, when they have played 12 fewer season in European football as they never played the first 6 years of the cup and were banned for 6 years in the 1980s.
The clubs had spent millions every year for EPL MU MC Liverpool etc and the it is embarrassing the teams cannot win the champions league you all should support Real Madrid😂😂😂😂😂 kloop runaway and hiding under a rock cuz he coach Liverpool for nine years and win one champions league and one league title😂😂😂😂, the English pundits and the EPL supporters I’m sorry to say you all are 1000 % fake and bias facts…
these jokers know nothing about football
Ancelotti is the best manager ever in the Champions League history, but Guardiola is the best manager in football history.
PEP IS THE GREATEST
In Bald head competition?
Pep will not dare to go to a team that doesn't already have world class players in it(maybe you could argue about Barca but that is where he started). Ancelotti has done it with different teams in different periods that didn't always have superstars.
Pep threatens players with less game time if they underperform in a game, like Aguero for example. Ancelotti can and has brought up talents in players who everyone once saw as useless
@@bibinthampy6917 Which team has Ancelotti coached without world class players and won something with them?
@@MohammedMunkaila-ep8xqdon carlo took a serie b side and promoted them to serie A
He also hit 59 points with everton. They’ve been a bottom tier team since he left
And he doesnt get fined for steroids like pep
They were the better side? The first 45 sure. But not second. 2-0 real madrid
