When’s there’s a green light especially with two trailers turning ahead of you should be preparing yourself that the light is going to switch red. It’s always best to approach the intersection slowly until you can clearly see the light ahead in front of you especially when turning , You got this don’t let that discourage you!

Yard man you got this bro, I passed my CDL A 2days ago in a manual Truck. You should drive 5 miles under any speed limits and watch the lines at stop lights stay behind it and only go when it is safe don't worry about traffic behind you.

What he failed me for i understand why, but I was thinking that shouldn’t be a automatic fail, but that’s the rule for the test. I learned from that, so Friday I will give him no reason to fail me again. 💪🏾😊

I’m taking my permit test now . Failed the first time .Tomorrow I just have to take the general knowledge test . It did feel weird because I can’t remember when I failed a test but I know the main goal is to get it first and before Friday. So I can be at prime next week! I failed the road test with them the 1st time too it was at the emergency stop part of the test I forgot to push in my trailer brake and it was an automatic fail but the very next time I passed so u got this bro, I've been with prime for almost a yr #KeepTruckin

Really? I think they just get a little more strict because tnt is no joke, it’s to make you better so they will push you and not cuddle you, I think that build up a driver character and give them a strong mindset vs to be nice and treat you like a baby.

I've been working for Uber for the past 6 years. Turns like that I always just wait at the line till I have a clear turn when I'm behind a trucker because they are slow and will get me caught in a t bone hit. I'm trying to get out of working for Uber. Pay keeps going down and longer miles. Anyway, I've seen cars and trucks do that and get stuck and horns start blaring lol. If I go this route they ain't getting me on this type of turn I tell you that. Oh I also check the walk sign if there is one, and if there is a count down and it's close to 0 I won't go either because usually there is like 6 seconds till the light turns green for the oncoming traffic.
That’s a smart idea the walk sign can be use as a timer to know when the green light is about to change. Very smart input bro 💪🏾😃
I remember my trainer doubted me. He thought that I was going to fail because he didn’t think that I was serious enough. But I passed the first try! It was the best feeling.

Dont syke yourself out bro, stop overthinking it youve allready got the practice under your belt and know your good, stop thinking about it... play some video games meditate and just chill, take an ice cold shower the morning of the test and chew gum, think about something funny before your test and have a laugh.

What's the hardest part in getting your CDL besides your road test?
I wouldn’t say hard. but what I would say what the most nervous part. Why I say nervous, because you will get to practice the backing maneuvers and on the pre trip you get to study it. But the only thing that’s hard is to do is to not be nervous. Once you can not be nervous, everything will be easy because you will practice. So being nervous is the only issue. You will be nervous for the simulator but don’t be and you will passs. Nervous is the only enemy 😂 just remember the word CALM and you will be good.
How many chances u get for pre trip English second language?
3 chances on pre trip, 3 chances on backing and 3 chances on road test.

Prime instructors don’t like everyone to trifecta they have to fail someone don’t looks like they let doing their job. my friend failed because his steer tire hit the dirt off the asphalt in a construction zone on a turn it was stupid.

No, you will just do the paper work and maybe show them you know how to drive a truck. Especially if you have experience, you should be good. If no experience maybe you will have to do some training. Call a recruiter and talk to them about exactly what your process will be. 😃💪🏾

I have a felony, transportation of certain illegal immigrants, but a low level im guessing as I still have my regular driving license went to the DMV and they said that I can still get my CDLs nothing is on my record that could hinder me i know a lot of companies are felony friendly but would it be wise to make the investment if my type of felony would be hard to land a job please anyone any information will help good looking out and yall stay on them roads
You could call Prime and have them look at your records and tell you the answer that matters. I know you would love to get some good news from us but the one who has the only answer that matter is Prime. Just give them a call, you never know, it could be the answer you want to hear.
