Ayyyy congrats man this is cool to see while you are actively going through it. Im a non cdl driver at fedex but have been looking into Schneider and Prime Inc. I want to get into dedicated driving reefers etc. Congrats on your career move. Id want to go to the Salt Lake terminal as it is closest to me.

Prime inc is only good for training if your coming with no experience in the industry its good, but if you want a decent truck, good pay im talking 2k plus as a company driver, and no crappy loads, new york city, Chicago, and so on, its not what you should be going after, i did training with them for 6 months, and that was it, in 2019 now i have years experience as a solo driver, my advice that i would give is dont hit anything, its easier said then done especially when your new and your at the mercy of getting a good or bad trainer you have to watch your back and your cdl, the good news is if you can stick out the training and get out on your own after a year, much better doors open up for you, and that 2k plus a week becomes obtainable its just rough starting out.
You’re not the first I see saying this. Prime is indeed a good company to start out with you’re correct. A lot of driver stick with Prime for many years and make a good living here. It is good to have a couple years otr experience with Prime, then a lot of other doors will automatically open if you decide to switch company. 😃
Exactly why I quit. My TNT was a scum bag. Called my Fleet Manager to explain, and he turned into a scum bag. Prime is like the Church of Scientology. Welcome you with open arms then turn on you.

You will have a wonderful time here, Prime Inc is a very good company to start and also stay with long term. All the staff are very nice here and you will learn a lot from other truck drivers here. Start studying your pre trip inspection the first day they give you the pre trip papers. 😃

Yes, funny story I came up on a banana boat with a bunch of green bananas, I painted myself green like the bananas. But guess what happened, the bananas started to became yellow and I was still green lol. I almost didn’t make it to America to drive for prime. 😎
I’m trying to decide on which school to choose from prime or the one in Tennessee the reviews on both is good how much do they pay you for training
I discuss everything in my videos on what to expect day by day week by week. But that’s a great question you ask. Prime will give you a $200 loan each week for two weeks until you get your license. These two weeks are called the psd phase. After the two weeks and you get your license and become an employee. It will be time for the real training which is the tnt phase, where you will get about $700+ a week. I explain things in detail in my videos, but I have no issues telling you here. All my videos are day by day at prime inc right up to my last video
If I got a suspended license (automobile) a year ago and I’m clean now that’s gonna be a problem? I need to put it in the aplication?
Give a recruiter a call and see what they say. That’s the best way to see if your application will get accepted.🙏🏾
Depends. Usually go back 3 yrs but on some things it's a case by case basis.

Yes you need regular drivers license in order to get cdl permit license 😃💪🏾

I think you should be ok being that you were out the country. Plus remember, covid was those years and a lot of people were jobless. Maybe I just gave you the answer to your problem. 😂 use my driver code on your application if this comment solve your problem. MCKRNE 😊🤫😂

I left Prime after 3 weeks. Trucks were too slow
😂😂😂 some people hate that the trucks are govern. Some like the fact they are so they can save money on that gas, plus it’s safer to not go over 65.
If you go to Prime training, when will you start getting a paycheck? I have bills to pay.
You will get paid $900 a week when you’re in tnt training and a $200 loan each week when in psd phase. Keep watching my videos I get into more detail as I get along😃😊

No, if you have your 2 year Dot physical prime that’s it. Prime don’t redo physical if you already have it.

Does the truck keep moving during the tnt phase or does it stop every 12hrs
It depends, on if you have a load that going far, or if it’s ready for pick up or ready for delivery. Me and my trainer been sitting since Saturday because our pick up was Monday. When we pick up today the drop off is tomorrow Tuesday, 6 hours away. We can pick up today and sit again then drop off tomorrow.,last week we had a load from California to North Carolina where we just run hard until we decide we have time we can sit for 10 hours. It all depends on how you want to run. Prime will give you extra time on the delivery which gives you time to sit or you can run hard and drop it off early if the receiver say it’s ok to drop it early. The truck can run none stop with two drivers because they can each run out their clock every time it resets. But if you’re solo you have to stop every 11 hours of driving and wait 10 hours before driving again. But in tnt phase when it’s two drivers you would rather the truck keep moving so your miles keep moving. My trainer like to stop sometimes, which is good. Some trainers don’t like to stop which is good and bad mentally

Yo im about to be in campus inn bro u said the application i signed up has to match like the job history? I only put a couple for me to make it to 100% ion remember what all jobs i put bro 😭 will they send me home for that ?
There’s a way you can see all the info that you put before but I don’t remember. A next way is you can Go back to the application, act like you are applying again, when you put in your name and social it will reload the previous application form you filled out with the info, and you just can screen record it. Then after you screen record it you can close out the application. don’t re submit it. 😃💪🏾

Does prime make you go to concentra for the dot physical or is a medical card from your own doctor fine?
Own doctor is fine as long as they are dot certified, and can give you the dot card. I go to somewhere similar to concentra on my own with my own money. Prime sent me to do the drug test though, prime set up my drug test.
@RomaneTheTrucker thank you for the response, I keep seeing some people saying prime makes you go to concentra and others say they don't, I just refuse to take part in that sleep apnea scam.
@@aceduece4142 when you go to Prime, if they think you are a little bit big, they will test you right there at the terminal for sleep apnea, they have a room for that right next to the class.

Yeah you should be clean, but I would recommend you go do a personal drug test before Prime send you. If Prime send you and it’s positive, you might mess up your trucking career. A positive drug result will be on your record forever. But I think 111 days should be clean, but I would test myself first if I were you.

Yeah get lab tested at a urgent care clinic. You have time before Prime send you to go your drug test at a urgent care clinic. Like I said 111 days is normally good, but everyone body is different.

@@Jameschewingfoil prime uses urine tests. I’m going to a clinic after work to test myself before I leave next month I’ll come back and update this comment when my results come in..114 days clean so far . Plus I’m already a CDL holder I just got to go to their refresher course
You get a roommate?
Yes, but some people end up with no roommate. Maybe roommate get sent home or never show up or they just got lucky and ended up with a room for themselves due to bookings.

Thru their CDL school. First I get CDL permit from my home state, then I apply for Prime Inc CDL school.

That’s even better, I’ve seen guys with CDL license in my class, they get to skip some of the rookie stuff we were doing lol. But you still have to go through a certain process and have orientation as well. Give a recruiter a call, they can help get you started at the next available date or when ever you’re ready. You can use my Driver code as Referral : MCKRNE , maybe that can show you were talking or listening to another driver and you know a few things already about Prime Inc, maybe that can push your application to the top of the list, idk lol, it will also put a couple coins in my pocket for helping others to get the information😃💪🏾

@anthonyvega1959 +1-877-491-1108 call that number they will give you a personal recruiter, that recruiter will be the one to talk to you anytime you call. Once you get a recruiter, that recruiter will do their best to get you ready. My recruiter was Heather, she call me anytime she need more information or anytime I call I get only her. We email each other also.
How far back they checking for the drug test
If you did any drugs, please research how long it will take for that drug to leave your urine, and wait that time for the drug to leave your urine before applying for prime. Some drugs take days, weeks or months to leave your urine. Once the drug leave your urine, they cannot know you did drugs in the pass at all, because there’s no drug in your urine currently. Be patient, make sure you’re clean before you apply for prime. Marijuana stay the longest in your urine, so if it’s marijuana, that can take months to leave your urine, so don’t apply until you test yourself and know you’re clean. Don’t try to cheat with fake urine or someone else urine, because if you get caught, you will have no trucking career ever. Once you urine is clean, you can say you never did drugs before in your life.😂

Go to a urgent care clinic or somewhere similar and do a personal drug test and see if you are clean. 3 months should be good, but I would recommend you do a personal drug test at a urgent care clinic to see your own result first. If you are still not yet clean wait another month. If you are clean then you can start applying for prime Inc.
You will be fine at 90 days. I'm always clean in 30.
If you are looking to get into trucking go to your community college and get your Cdl on your own stay away from bottom feeder companys you will thank me in the long run .
Yeah but community college will take 5-6 months to get a cdl, then I will still have to come to one of these companies you call bottom feeders and beg them a job because I have zero experience. Or I could just go to one of the companies you called bottom feeders get my CDL in a few weeks and get a job with them right away. Then in 6 months, I will have 6 months experience with a stable job and you graduating community college after 6 months with zero job and zero experience. I might be your trainer when you finally get a job at this same company you call bottom feeder company. 🤷🏽♂️

The school is two and half weeks and then training is 3 months, the. You will get in your own truck. Watch my videos I document everything from day one up to now.
Have you guys never heard of a local company? Stay away from mega carriers and enjoy your life. Living weeks in the truck for shhiitt pay.
You can’t just go and get a local job like that without any experience. At a mega carrier they will teach you how to drive and truck help you get the license and pay you. Then you can talk about local companies. Remember we all have to start from somewhere. Thanks to Prime Inc I was able to get into the game without never been in a semi truck before. 😃💪🏾

How much experience prime want from drivers ?
Prime has a school that they teach you how to drive and get your cdl. You can have zero driving experience, but you will go through their training program. If you are already driving for a company or drove for a company before and have experience give prime a call and they will tell you if you are going to need more training then get your own truck or if you just need to be evaluated and get your own truck. Just give a recruiter a call and they can tell you where you stand. I didn’t have any license nor experience, and Prime help me get my license now I am getting the training and experience.
How is your tnt training going? I came here with my cdl already they basically have my doing a whole cdl test then driving 50K miles. Seems like ima be on this guys truck for 5 damn months
@@JohnQuest413 my tnt is going on great so far John. I only did 3500 miles so far. If you had your cdl and experience driving otr for 6months to a year maybe you would skip the 50k miles. You will be ok with a trainer for the 50k miles it’s not so crazy. If you watch my videos you can get an idea of my experience so far. I talk about what I experience daily. 😃
