No problem, and yeah before my orientation I watched a bunch of videos from other people new to the experience, so I'm happy to share my experience now
Thanks for making the videos. Im trying to figure out what company to go to and this helped me alot. I will definitely use your driver code if i decide to go with Prime. Also what method did use for studying for the cdl . Any advice is very appreciated. Thank you
It’s a different process if you already have your cdl, this is just what they do with people coming to prime without a cdl like I did. You would be in a different orientation class
Do you have to take a drug test once you get there for psd or before you go out with the driver? Yea I know the whole “you shouldn’t be driving if you do drugs” and I’m aware of the random tests but seriously just a honest question
The recruiter called me the very next day after I filled out the application, but I wasn't approved until a little over two weeks before starting orientation, so maybe a month n a half, some people may be quicker, but that's just my experience.
No you don't have to read every single thing, there are some important stuff that you will want to read for the CDL test (pretrip info). I still haven't read anything in that book they gave me.
Hello, did you have to do the physical assessment test? You know where you had to lift weights etc… I know that you had a physical before you got the permit but was there another after you got to Prime? Your videos are EXCELLENT! Thanks, Brother.
Well because I'm going into the flatbed division with Prime, they had me do what they call an "agility test", which just consistent of lifting a 70 LBS tarp off a 4 or 5 foot platform, placing it on the ground and then lifting it back on the platform. If you are going into tanker or refer you don't need any additional physical tests other than the DOT medical and drug test that everyone needs to get done before coming.
Im here four the journey i like these first day videos an tnt videos give me inspiration for startin my career

So if you already have ur CDL do u still have to go through orientation?
Yeah, it’s just a different orientation than the one I went through as someone who didn’t have a CDL
You still with Prime? Thinking of going with them early next year.
Yes I am, gonna stay with Prime for at least a year. I still think Prime is one of the better of the big trucking companies to start with
how much is the cdl cost
Do they make you take the test after your mentorship or during the cdl training if you already gotten your cdl?

@TruckingWithPrentiss yeah my recruiter stated the same that they would train me for 2 weeks and I be would sent with a mentor afterwards
Does prime do hair follicle or urine ?
Everything in that book, those printed pages says one thing... in all cases...its the drivers fault/responsibility.
I'm a new subscriber from Maryland great video.
I appreciate the support, and thank you!

Hey bro just got accepted. They called my past jobs. Dod you need to bring your W2's
Hey man can you please give a little details on payment for TnT face drivers per week. Thanks
Hey bro got accepted today. Dod you need to bring your W2
How long did it take from when you put your application in until a recruiter called to say you were approved?

wait, do you need a passport?
No just a drivers license, D.O.T medical card, but you need to bring either a birth certificate, social security card, or passport
Geez thats alot of reading material. Do you have to go through all of it? Like memorize it word for word? Maybe im overthinking

No one wants to answer if they do hair follicle or urine why it's such an easy question to answer
I recommend being clean for 6 consecutive months before going to any trucking institution. Handling a 80-thousand-pound vehicle is serious!!
@@lisamarie343 yep
urine but get clean bro.. im getting clean but its urine
when did they drug test you?
What if your work history not good …but determined to be a driver/otr
