    I just bought one of these and used it for the first time. It worked really good. A lot better than I thought it would. We’ll see how it holds up over time.

      @MrHatchbody 26 дней назад

      @@samham9426 It is still working. the only issue I've had with it so far is it gets hung up a little on the drain at the bottom of the pool. but it usually unsticks it self. I love that it scrubs while it vacums.

    Is this better than the Poolbot B150 and how is it compared to Aiper Seagull Pro

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  Месяц назад +1

      I haven't used the Poolbot but I have used the Seagull Pro. The Osprey I would consider to be the older model for wybot. Between the Osprey and the Seagull Pro, I would say the Seagull Pro does better.
      However, the newer version of the Osprey is the Wybot C1. And the C1 I would consider to be better in terms of performance than the Seagull Pro. But then there's the newer version of the Seagull Pro... the Scuba S1. And that too, works at a comparable level to the C1

      Cordless cleaner with ultra-fine filter, you mean? This is very hard to find, unfortunately.
      If so, here's a list of the ones I know of:
      Dolphin Liberty 300
      Aiper Scuba S1 Pro
      Beatbot Aquasense Pro

      I may have been told by Wybot back then they would release a new filter but it never came to be.
      I've heard of some people using disposable skimmer socks and wrapping the debris basket with it with some luck. Haven't tried it myself but others say it works

  • @manuelgordillo9811

    Is there a way to buy a ultra fine basket for it? Or is there a way to add Ultra fine capabilities to the existing one?

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  5 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately they don't actually make an ultra-fine filter for sale for the Osprey 700. I don't think there is a way to physically add it to the normal basket

    Do you know the minimum water depth for it to work - tanning ledges for an example

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  5 месяцев назад +1

      I've never really tested it but my tanning ledge is about 12 to 14 inches and it's able to climb and clean it. However I have a even taller/shallower part of that ledge with about 6-7 inches of water only and it doesn't climb that.
      The cleaner is 9.4 inches tall and most cleaners have to be fully submerged to be able to clean so I would assume the ledge would at least have to be about 10 inches of water

    Great videos!!! Out of all the cordless pool cleaners you tested, which one works the best for the money?

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  Год назад +2

      Good question! Honestly, the best bang for your buck cordless cleaner I've used to date has definitely got to be the Seauto Seal. And even though I say "bang for your buck," I hope it doesn't imply that the Seal barely gets the job done... The Seal does WAY more. For the price, it's packed with features. And it's also VERY powerful. I've watched it outperform cleaners twice and even three times the cost. The Wybot 700 is a close second and also very impressive for the price. But best for the money, dollar per feature wise, hands-down the Seauto Seal. And I'm not sponsored to say that lol.

    What do you think on the longevity of these pool vacs?

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  Год назад

      Honestly, I'm beginning to like these smaller brands more and more as I use them. I've been a Dolphin and Polaris fan for years, but these newer companies are coming out with better tech for about the same warranty periods. Now, personally, I can't say how long a Wybot cleaner will last, I've only had one cleaner from them for 2 months now. And it works pretty well. But so far I've heard good things from others. I've even heard some bad things but Wybot too, like some models not working at all but, so far Wybot has stood by their warranty so that's a plus.

      Oh wow the normal Aquasense didn't do well? I would assume it's more advanced than the Scuba S1 and Wybot C1. I haven't tried the Aquasense yet.

      @@imdefinitelydavid It is advertised as an intelligent robot when it comes to mapping.My pool is a rectangular play pool where you have shallow ends and deeper center with a play pad on one end.It didn't do the S pattern instead it went into deep sense mode where there is no cleaning pattern and didn't cover a lot of area and didn't even tried to climb the play pad.It also misses a lot of wall coverage.They suggested to unlock the step master mode in the software which it would give the robot more power to climb steps and it did give the robot more power that its literally flying all over the pool resulting in the robot to tilt upward while traveling the floor randomly. The hardware and the robot itself seems reliable but the software still needs a lot of work. So here I am again doing research.

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  4 месяца назад

      I agree with you on the software. Like the Pro version, they're both advertised as the "most-advanced" robot, but the software and app use is limited. Sorry to hear about your experience.

    Hello from France .
    I have a question, if this robot arrives on my bench at the top of the stairs, it will put water everywhere since this bench is not very submerged? THANKS .
    ps: Google translate. Sorry my English like me, old, lol. (there, not google translation ^^).

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  6 месяцев назад +1

      It shoots water towards the top back of it on a shallow step, and ONLY if it climbs onto it. The return jet is towards the back. Remember that it needs enough water submerged to actually climb ontop of the bench. In other words, if your bench doesn't have enough water it won't climb ontop it. If it has enough water, it will climb and shoot water in the back of it, not necessarily everywhere. And also, it wouldn't shoot far

    DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. They will take your money, "lose" the shipment, take no accountability and then reuse to pay you back.
    I bought and payed for this unit, and has not left their warehouse in a month. They refuse to give me my money back because i need to received it first and reject the shipment before they can refund me...but, again, their unit has not left their premises (according to the tracking they gave me). And don't bother with customer service. They are always too busy to answer and when they do answer, it is impossible to hear / understand them, before they mysteriously hang up on you.

    absolute garbage product folks. i bought mine in april 2024. it was supposed to arrive in 5 days, took two weeks. In June the power button started going bad - wouldn't depress. By July the button was broken. Working with customer service since July 12 and they don't respond to emails. They told me to ship it back ( i was a sucker and paid for that). They said once they had a tracking number they'd ship a new one. I provided that on 7/26/24 and today, 7/31, they emailed saying they are waiting to verify shipping. That's what the tracking number is for. Awful product and possibly even worse customer service. Be ware
