I am an avid RUclipsr and was looking for a new pool cleaner when I saw this video. It is the most comprehensive and detailed video from a non-sponsored creator. I appreciate the in-depth reviews and have subscribed to your channel based on this one video. You made my choice easy and although I am not going with the Wybot Pro, I will be buying the Wybot 2 without the charging station. Thanks for being a great contributor!
I got the Crab because of you (hopefully nobody has ever said those words to you before now haha). It does a great job, especially considering it's almost 75% of the cost of the winner here. My moms pool was neglected, algae growing the the floors and walls, and we just power-washed the paver-patio surrounding it so there was a LOT of debris in there. I watched it go over the debris field and thought i'd be sending it back, but it did it. In one cleaning it got about 85% of the debris and algae cleared up, by the second run, the pool looked GREAT!
I just ordered the Crab, it arrived in a few days. I got it for $360 on amazon with a $140 off coupon & then only paid $60+ tax, since I had $300 in rewards points. I can’t wait to try it out! I have a 12x26’ oval Coleman above ground pool & debris is always an issue. The Seauto Crab seemed the best for the price.
@@bnwing I hope you have better luck with your Crab than I did with the Seal. The company is completely useless when it comes to honoring their warranty.
THE most comprehensive review of cordless pool robots! I had ordered the Aiper Scuba S1 but now cancelled because it doesn't have a fine filter and I get a lot of fine sand here on the Spanish coast. Now looking at Wybot S2 (without dock) despite a really bad experience with their M1 Utlra (via a Kickstarter campaign) last year.
Thanks a million! I made my purchase today. Aiper S1 was the one that would fit our needs most. We’ve needed a new cleaner for a while. I hated messing with our stupid connected Polaris thing. We’ve had the same type for 20 years! After lots of studying, your video sealed the deal. We appreciate you!!!!
If you mean how do we like it, we LOVE it! So much easier than the hanging bag on the hose Polaris we had before. Way easier to clean the basket and it cleans so much better.
Wow, that was a lot of work. Thanks for taking the time. I'm a tethered cleaner person and keep my pool covered to keep evaporation down when not swimming so un-tethered isn't really a good option. I also leave the sweep in the pool 24x7 and the current one is going on 3 years with no issues. Still great to see what's what in the non-tethered world.
I came home after a vacation and became so frustrated. I have a robotic corded pool cleaner and that thing is so heavy. I'm gonna buy me a battery operated one just because of you. Don't stop making videos your excellent! And by the way, the older you get, you need less work and lighter details.😂
When I wash the filter baskets, I wash it from the outside, I think it’s easier to clean. This was a really great video, lots of detail, and the things that were insignificant to other people were significant to me, thanks.
Thank you, thank you thank you! I’m a first time poor owner and I’ve been diving down the rabbit hole of robotic pool cleaners. Little of it made sense until I saw your video.
Thanks for the great video! It’s so hard to find non biased coverage, and even the sponsored videos don’t always disclose it as fully as they should. I ordered a Beatbot Pro from the prime day sale before seeing the video to replace my wired Shark. Hopefully it exceeds expectations.
Stellar review! Absolutely first class. Other reviewers should watch and learn from this guy, whose reviews -of all types of products- are as fastidious as they are valuable. Bravo!
Note that Mayotronics Dolphin has licensed the designs from Seauto, if not having bought the company outright. They have their own versions that they have released. 21:29 I’d love to see an update of this test with the Beatbox Aquasense Pro, as well as the cordless Mayotronics Dolphin Liberty models.
I bought the aiper s1 pro had it for 2 days and returned it to Amazon. It couldn't navigate my pool's geometry with sloped floors and perimeter ledge 3 feet below water line so water line feature became useless. I replaced with maytronics dolphin sigma a $400 price difference but I've had it for 3 weeks and it does a significant better job cleaning. Climbs up to whole wall to get the water line. I'm surprised none of the dolphin pool bots made it into the video... I do love this channel and the thorough reviews of the types of products that I'm interested in using. Keep up the good content.
Not a super fair comparison since the sigma is a tethered bot. I had planned to include the Dolphin LIBERTY 200, but it was out of stock everywhere when I was gathering robots for testing.
I bought the Aiper S1 from Amazon because I wanted a cordless unit and the price seemed worth trying it out since I can just erturn it if not satisfied. So far I am really impressed despite the random paths. We have a large flat area and then sloping walls all around to the deep end (it struggles a bit on sloped corners. It always picks up all of the leaf and similar debris and a good portion of silt (which has been significant lately with a lot of rain and wind in our area). I didn’t find that the powerful pump discharge pushes the bottom debris about enough to make it significant. It’s light and easy to fish out of the pool (it drives itself to a wall and stops). It re-charges in about a 4 hour period (but I never clean more than once a day and normally every two days depending on pool use). I wouldn’t use a pool robot for opening cleaning, and I find a proper vacuum brush head cleaning makes th efloor less slippery (despite it looking clean). The wall cleaning action works quite well, and will most certainly inhibit algae growth as it’s action moves fresh chlorinated water around into what is usually a stangant layer against the walls (where algae would normally take hold). Overall I am quite impressed and happy with the Aiper Scuba S1, and ultimately glad I didn’t purchase the heavier Aiper Scuba S1 Pro (although I would have IF we had a pool bigger than our 16 x 16 x 34’ L-shaped pool. (I considered the Polaris Freedom as well, but could not justify the extra cost when manually vacuuming our small inground pool doesn’t take that long (we started using a concrete roller and brush rectangle type wide head for daily cleaning prior to the robot as it allows a much faster quick vacuum on our vinyl pool than our regular triangular brush vacuum head which I used for a heavier cleaning every couple of weeks). Now I pop the Scuba S1 into the pool each morning and spend more time swimming in the afternoons instead of cleaning.
I bought the Seauto Seal after watching you previous video. It worked well for half a season in my little Amazon pool. Now that I have a large real pool it lasted two weeks before one of the track motors broke. I managed to talk to someone at Seauto who told me to send a video of it going in circles. That was early May and haven’t heard anything since 🤦🏻♂️
That's disappointing, they are supposed to have a 2 year warranty. Unfortunately when I made the video last year they had great warranty service and even a phone number based in California. That phone number now automatically disconnects, and emails are sporadic. Something fishy definitely happened because Maytronics (Dolphin) is now selling the Seauto Seal under their own name for considerably more money: amzn.to/3xKJ0rx At least with Maytronics you know they will honor warranty.
Exactly the same happened to me. Seauto Seal worked perfectly for about 8 month, then it just stopped working. Was having conversation with customer support for about 1 month with no success, they asked me to send a video and order details which I did twice, and then just stopped answering my emails. Indeed their phone never worked as well. I pushed Amazon and was able to get a refund. Also looking to their social platforms (fb and insta) we can see tons of comments about not answering emails and phone calls. They are complete scammers. Would never recommend this brand to anyone.
@@TheHookUp Mine completely died after 6 months with electronics issues. I've been in contact with them, emailed, called, they're non-responsive over email after initial contact. When you call they say to send an email with your warranty issue. They've said they are waiting on shipments from China....for 6 months. My impression is the company is failing.
Mine also died after 1 year and can't get a response from them via email. Would steer clear of seauto. Keep in mind the big brands like dolphin/polaris offer 2/3 year warranties and actually respond to your emails.
I have owned the BEATBOT Aquasense for 2 months now and it is by far better than any other cordless model I tested in my pool. It allowed me to get rid of my corded Dolphin. What made the difference is the MULTIZONE MODE which cleans my 30000 Gallon Grecian L shaped pool, walls, floors, swimout and steps in 2 hours. No other cordless model I tried even came close. It's easy to clean, retrieve and just works.
Great review, thanks! You are the only one upto date who mentioned the useless secondary filter on the S1 Pro, which really is a joke the way it is done. Pure marketing... Have you updated the firmware on any of the units before testing? I just bought an Aiper S1 Pro and did a firmware update (from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1) and found the navigation capabilities far superior to before the update. Before it would always get stuck at the stairs because when going down the last step, it always "fell" back to the same spot so it did the same spot over and over again. After the update it managed to get on after 2-3 attempts and also had a satisfying close overlap when cleaning the walls. Very satisfied with the unit now!
Very much appreciate your unbiased evaluation of these robots. My six year old Dolphin Triton PS is about ready to retire. I had to change out the guts a year ago and the power supply case and power cord are rapidly deteriorating from the punishment of the southern Arizona sun. The only problem I've had with it is, it can get hung up on the pool drain cover. I've read that this is not an uncommon issue for pool cleaning robots. Are the drain covers in your pool flush fit? Also, you may want to recheck your Amazon links.
Wow! Fantastic job! I recently bought the Wybot S2 pro to replace my 4.5 year old Polaris Titon unit which has finally worn out completely. However my pool doesn't have any flat walls for mounting and I had to send it back. I'm on the fence with their M1 solar panel unit and wonder if you suspect the cleaning the be similar to S2 pro? Thanks.
Got the Seauto Seal last August from Amazon @ $350. Loved it until 2w ago when you pressed the power button, it would start running right away, out of the water and you couldn't change modes. Now the power light faintly flashes when you try to turn it on. The charging PSU properly tests 26v. Seauto finally replied after two emails over 2w, and I sent them a vid per their request, and I'll report back what they do. I love that you tested support access .
@@TheHookUp Thanks for the suggestion. Possible corrosion but terminals look fine. Chlorinated pool, not saltwater. But not sure that would explain how it's now not working at all (except for the faint, red, flashing power).
Still using my AIRROBO PC100 that I bought last year at your suggestion. The reviews on Amazon are atrocious, but your review and my experience prove that they are wrong.
This is by far the best video review I have watched. Detailed, full of relevant information (like how much stuff comes out when you take the bot out of the water! That is super useful). Unbiased. I really like the Wybot S2 Pro, but don’t like the fact that its docking station stays in the pool. Does anyone know if you *have* to install it in the pool, or can you just take the bot out of the water and carry it to its dock, located in a dry spot outside the pool? Again, super good video. This guy must be an engineer to present relevant technical information like this, in a logical and clear way. 🙂
I think if you're going to keep it out of the water you should just save some money and get the Wybot S2, which is the same as the Pro, but without the in-pool dock: amzn.to/3z3DCAj
A very thorough section of reviews thank you. Thought i'd add some comments re my experience of one of these: Have recently purchase the Scuba 1 Pro and it cannot do everything that the manufacturers at Aiper and a lot of these "Review" clips claim. It cannot handle relatively mild changes in pool gradient at all, and apparently (according to their customer service team) it doesn't work as expected with smooth materials. It certainly doesn't work with my standard ceramic pool tiles, even though they are 15 years old and anything but smooth! Wall cleaning mode struggles with the pool gradient and cannot advance along the wall, apparently because my pool has slightly rounded pool transitions from floor to wall. And it doesn't always manage to dock at the pool edges when the battery runs down. And finally, I think that their customer service team is an AI platform (and a poor one at that), as they appear to answer all questions with common (sometimes irrelevant) answers, and do not try to reach any sort of resolution other than to update the firmware again (even if you've clearly stated that it is up to date). Or that the machine seems to be operating correctly!
Congratulations on this comparison. It lacks efficiency depending on the bottom of the pool. In particular, is the seauto suitable for diamond-tipped or compound-slope bottoms. Thank you
As always an excellent test! It is amazing how bad some of these are given the price tag. Your pool is definitely more difficult than normal but still that’s not an excuse in this pricing tier. As it happens I just bought an above ground pool. I will probably go with a cheaper more basic bot.
We still have our first sweet pool-cleaner attached with a cable since we built our beautiful stainless steel pool 12 years ago - and it still works, to my yearly astonishment! But there will be a day when he gives up, so this is very helpful video. One point for me will certainly be: What is available, at what price with what support here in Switzerland, in the middle of Europe. Thx!
Here I am interested in the thing that's totally beside the point, but... What did you do/use to trace out the coverage area/path of each robot to overlay the image of the pool?
I like that scale/arm/camera rig to record the scale as it empties. Pretty cool! I'd love to see some sort of test to see how they handle being in the pool all the time. I Know the manufacturers say not to do that, but if we want to automate pool cleaning, that is clearly the direction and feature that future models need to go. So the question is, which ones can build out of materials that can stand up to salt, chlorine, and UV better than the others.
Yep, the Lydsto specifically has the charger that allows it to stay in the pool 24/7 but it's got a big sticker that says "Do not leave your robot in the pool for more than 7 days".
This might be the greatest video in RUclips history. I don't think i've ever seen a product review page with better, more indepth, non-biased, highly researched content than this. This mf better be earning millions off this vid, cos he deserves it
Hello. It's prime day today and I am in the market for a pool cleaner and your video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much It's a shame your video is buried buy all these other "best pool cleaner" videos done by bots comparing reviews vs somebody who has the units in hand and put in the work to do proper testing. Overall very well done! only thing I wish was that a Dolphin CC nautilus was included with this review test as it's also one I am considering along with the Aiper and Wybot as it's been a long time best seller. edit: turns out Nautlius CC is the basic model of the dolphin lineup and does not have waterline feature and struggles to climb walls according to Pool Nerd so I guess i'll be going with Aiper this year.
7:09 I think you got your text flipped there :D Edit: Was interested to see how the Beat-bot did after Linus's video since it seems to take quite a long time for seemingly very small amount of dirt when they threw leaves and dirt in the pool.
As I mentioned, the filter has pretty small holes and is easily clogged. The Beatbot has a suction power draw monitor and will stop cleaning if the bin is clogged, which would be very often in a pool that dirty. Unfortunately the Beatbot should have the ability to go to the surface and connect to WiFi to send error notifications, but it doesn't and instead it just stops cleaning and sits on the bottom of the pool until you fish it out.
Great job with this comparison. Wish you would have been able to include the less expensive Wybot C1. I've had one for a couple of months and it seems to a great job at least in floor only mode.
You really need/needed to include the beatbot pro. I had the aipier s1 and returned it for the beatbot pro and this thing is a tank and since owning it I haven't dragged my hose out once.
It's over 4x the price of the Aiper S1. Hard to say if the pro would have been able to properly map the pool or if it would have had the same issue switching to deepsense.
@@TheHookUp yeah I know the cost is insane. Just speaking from hands on experience with both. It truly eliminated my need to use a hose, plus it does surface cleaning.
I have the Beatbot Aquasense for 2 months. What made the difference for me was the MULTIZONE MODE. It does a great job of cleaning my floor, wall, steps and swimout in 2 hours. Just throw it in and it just works. Easy to retrieve and clean. Much better than my corded Dolphin.
This is a great video. Thanks all the way from Australia. It's been hard to get a honest review on the aiper as they are new here, but this really tipped me to get an S1. Some really good information 👌
I'm from Oz, in Torquay Vic, I had the Aiper Seagull Pro, ended up getting a refund as it would not climb any walls, especially if they gentle slope and are tiled. Hopefully the Scuba S1 is better. Couldn't fault it's cleaning ability, except for the walls and waterline.
@Only5yards thanks for the info. I have heard some previous models had a few issues. I ran the S1 for the first time yesterday and it did a bloody good job. I know having full battery is key to climbing walls. Time will tell if it's up to the job long term.
Great vid I'm in situation where I need to buy one and I was between the aiper pro and the wybot model but geez after this not sure what to do ahahha thanks for you honest opinions on these though any more helpful info I'd appreciate I will be buying one by next week hahA
Thank you for that awesome comparison. I wanted to ask if you had a choice between Aiper S1 Pro vs Wybot S2 Pro which one would you buy? I have a 12,000 gallon pool with two curve benches about 8 foot each and a baja shelf with 2 steps on each end. I have several drains that includes 2 drains that provide heat going up when heating the pool. It's important to me that the robotic cleaners does not get stuck since I have about 7 total drains but 2 are main drains. Thank you for any advise on what machine will work best for me.
I don't think either will get stuck on your drains. The S2 Pro is the superior robot, but I get the feeling Wybot is having supply chain issues because it is back to pre-order status.
Thanks for a very interesting video. As a matter of interest, how did you create those coverage diagrams? It would be great to see if my current robot is as bad as I think it is!
Ty again for the vide. Can you reccomend a robot pool cleaner that will not damage a above ground pool iner. I tried the lower end Wybot, it workd great but got stuck on every hill or bump.
@TheHookUp oh ok because I was looking at getting a cordless, but it seems like they don't do as good a job as the electric ones. I have a 40k gallon pool and was wondering your thoughts on the E70 wifi 16inch by dolphin? I believe it's their biggest model
I have the Polaris DVX-whatever the hell electric one, but it doesn’t pick up the fine debris, so now here I am, looking for a suction vacuum. Wish I’d know this prior to spending $1400 on the Polaris
hi, its an off topic question but i have no other idea how to solve my problem in my region the pj40 is not available under 400€ and i am wondering what projektor i should consider now i think it is between the happrun yg491 and the wanbo davinci 1 pro. do you have a clear favourite under 400€ that is just used for watching movies and football. in my room is often an open window so that i need a projekor which is a bit brighter
I returned Aiper Scuba S1 since it would not stay on the ground after 3 weeks in use. Afterwards ordered Aiper Seagull Pro will be returned today since it just doesn't do a good cleaning for the price of 985 €
@@TheHookUp not user serviceble and no spare parts offered is really a big shame and I know a lot of manufactures are going that route.. If you spend money on something you should still have a minimal of easy to replace spare parts like a battery, brush etc. Even the baskets are not even listed on most of the websites as a spare part..
If I lived in a more "cookie cutter" community I think that would be a great way to do the comparisons with each robot in a separate yard. I think setting up 6-8 mowers for a single small yard or a few yards would be difficult to judge their effectiveness. I also think that a mower review needs to be a bit more long term than a robotic vacuum or pool cleaner.
Depends if your pool has a lot of floating debris and whether your built in skimmer does a good job. I've been pretty successful at cultivating a good circular current in my pool that empties into the skimmer so I wouldn't personally need one.
@@TheHookUp In areas with heavy rains like FL, you often end up with a water level that is above the skimmer for prolonged periods. No amount of circulation will overcome that.
Can you tell me how the Wybot s2 pro charging dock attaches to the pool wall? I can’t find that anywhere on their website. Great video & just what I needed as our corded Hayward robot finally died after 12 years of service. Thx!
In a review for the S2, the reviewer said that you aren't supposed to leave the sponge filter in if you're doing anything other than floor-only mode and that the S2 Pro is the same as the S2 but with the dock included. (Makes that a rather pricey dock given the discounts on the base S2!) Since you've spent a good amount of time with the S2 Pro, I was wondering if that's what you've seen with the pool cleaner. I tend to leave my cleaners in "clean everything" mode, so I wouldn't mind just leaving the sponge filter in to ensure that I'm not missing small particulate. (Maybe use the course filter?)
There were 2 filters in the box, the ultra fine filter and a more coarse secondary filter. I was using the ultra fine foam filter and leaving in 24/7 no matter what mode I was using. After about a month it started to fall apart. I switched to the coarse filter and it seems to be holding up much better to the 24/7 submersion.
This dude measured the filter hole sizes! Bravo. I just smiled and looked around in disbelief at this nerdy info. I appreciate you

Mine also died after 1 year and can't get a response from them via email. Would steer clear of seauto. Keep in mind the big brands like dolphin/polaris offer 2/3 year warranties and actually respond to your emails.
Interestingly, Dolphin has licensed the Seauto design and is now selling the Seauto Seal SE under the name "Dolphin Niya Sonar 50": amzn.to/4hoJK7t
Thanks! I’ll get the Wybot S2 non pro. I don’t have a spot to mount the charging station so I’ll get it without one
I don't have a pool but watched anyway because The Hook Up has helped me countless times over the years.
This guy is amazing! Measuring the microns of the filter😂love your work, the ultimate pool geek!
who else is going crazy trying to figure out what to get?
Wybot S2 but not the pro. Currently $100 off on their website and Amazon at $799.
Decided on the degrii Zima pro 2024 model. It is pretty dang nice!
Oh and 300 bucks off on Amazon right now.
Standing ovation for your efforts to make this awesome tests and video!
Glad it worked for you.
My drain covers are not flush. These robots do not have an issue going over them.
Looked at a lot of reviews for Pool Cleaners and your are by far the best! Thank you!
Sounds like the water sensor contacts on the top might have corroded?
@@TheHookUp Thanks for the suggestion. Possible corrosion but terminals look fine. Chlorinated pool, not saltwater. But not sure that would explain how it's now not working at all (except for the faint, red, flashing power).
Such a great and detailed comparison. I have learned whatever I was looking for. Thank you.
Still using my AIRROBO PC100 that I bought last year at your suggestion. The reviews on Amazon are atrocious, but your review and my experience prove that they are wrong.
One of rheumatologist best reviews of products that I have ever seen. Thank you.
Outstanding quality of the content! Im so impressed! Thank you for putting all this work for us.
@@TheHookUp I will check that out. Thanks for the tip and thanks for the excellent video!
Love the detail! Which one is best for above ground pools?
Good lord. This is a Consumer Reports level review. EPIC review video
A very thorough section of reviews thank you. Thought i'd add some comments re my experience of one of these:
Have recently purchase the Scuba 1 Pro and it cannot do everything that the manufacturers at Aiper and a lot of these "Review" clips claim.
Thx!
What a great video! Appreciated that you got through a mountain of info so quickly.
Here I am interested in the thing that's totally beside the point, but... What did you do/use to trace out the coverage area/path of each robot to overlay the image of the pool?
"Write On" tool in Premiere... my wife manually did it 5 frames at a time for each robot.
@@TheHookUp I figured it might be something manual. A lot of work but the look is worth it!
@@TheHookUp yeah, it seems like every robot (battery powered or otherwise) they won't sign up for leaving it in the pool
Robowars underwater - love it Rob!
You my friend are getting a sub, excellent vid
This might be the greatest video in RUclips history. I don't think i've ever seen a product review page with better, more indepth, non-biased, highly researched content than this. This mf better be earning millions off this vid, cos he deserves it
Hello. It's prime day today and I am in the market for a pool cleaner and your video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much
It's a shame your video is buried buy all these other "best pool cleaner" videos done by bots comparing reviews vs somebody who has the units in hand and put in the work to do proper testing.
Yep, I hate those bot videos with a passion. Best thing to do is hit the thumbs down on them, and the thumbs up on the ones you like :)
Very comprehensive testing, highly impressed!!!!
Fantastic review! I have the Crab and I'm very happy with its performance vs the price point of the other robots.
7:09 I think you got your text flipped there :D
Edit:
Was interested to see how the Beat-bot did after Linus's video since it seems to take quite a long time for seemingly very small amount of dirt when they threw leaves and dirt in the pool.
Looking forward to hearing what you have to say about the new JMGO N1S Ultra
I appreciate your reviews. Which one is best for a large in ground pool with a sloped floor and sloped walls?
The seautos seem to be the best wall climbers, but they will probably all work.
Very detail. Thank you for the excellent review. Confirmed my recent purchase of the Aipen S1.
Best review I’ve ever seen. No matter what product.
Thanks for the introduction! It's quite helpful
@@benniv86 hi mate, from Aus too. How are you finding the S1?
Thank you for the video. I have had a difficult time trying to purchase the right one.
Thanks for the great review Rob.
How about Dolphin ones and Beatbot AquaSense Pro? I wonder if water surface cleaning is useful for daily purposes?
This is exactly what I needed. Bravo.
Wow this video was so in depth and informative, well done 👍
awesome review, that answered more question than I initially had :D
Thanks for a very interesting video. As a matter of interest, how did you create those coverage diagrams? It would be great to see if my current robot is as bad as I think it is!
Unfortunately I did it manually in premiere
Great video, as usual. Thanks. What cameras do you use for shooting under water?
GoPros.
Ty again for the vide. Can you reccomend a robot pool cleaner that will not damage a above ground pool iner. I tried the lower end Wybot, it workd great but got stuck on every hill or bump.
Now that is how you make a review!
Incredible video. Well done
No dolphins in this comparison? Are they not any good? Trying to narrow down what is the best to buy
I had planned to include the Dolphin LIBERTY 200, but it was out of stock everywhere when I was gathering robots for testing.
@TheHookUp oh ok because I was looking at getting a cordless, but it seems like they don't do as good a job as the electric ones. I have a 40k gallon pool and was wondering your thoughts on the E70 wifi 16inch by dolphin? I believe it's their biggest model
I would like to see a review of Beatbot pro. Is it better?
Will you be doing one of these roundups for corded pool vacuums?
would the aiper seagull pro just be a lite version of the s1 pro but a more heavy duty version of the original s1?
I have the Polaris DVX-whatever the hell electric one, but it doesn’t pick up the fine debris, so now here I am, looking for a suction vacuum.
Wish I’d know this prior to spending $1400 on the Polaris
hi, its an off topic question but i have no other idea how to solve my problem
in my region the pj40 is not available under 400€ and i am wondering what projektor i should consider now
i think it is between the happrun yg491 and the wanbo davinci 1 pro.
do you have a clear favourite under 400€ that is just used for watching movies and football.
in my room is often an open window so that i need a projekor which is a bit brighter
I returned Aiper Scuba S1 since it would not stay on the ground after 3 weeks in use.
Afterwards ordered Aiper Seagull Pro will be returned today since it just doesn't do a good cleaning for the price of 985 €
What do you mean "would not stay on the ground"?
Great video. Do you think the crab will work well in a pool that has a 7’ deep end???
Depth should not be an issue.
What did you use to map out the path!? This would be amazing to know weekly
Just manually done in premiere unfortunately.
@@TheHookUp boooo LOL Looks like there’s a new build coming soon!
I have a kidney shaped pool. 4 ft shallow and 8 ft deep end. Looking at the Seato Seale and Dolphin Freedom. Which would you recomend?
How many years will the battery last? and are the batteries replaceable when they go bad?
The seauto's have easily replaceable batteries (a few screws on the bottom of the unit), the rest are not user serviceable.
I would love to see the same content about robotic lawn mowers!!!
I'd love to do a robotic mower roundup, but I don't have the yard space to do it properly.
@@TheHookUp
You can mow your neighbor's lawn and still earn a few bucks... 🤣😛
Btw: I love your videos. Nice reviews!
Do you think the solar pool robot skimmers are worth it?
Depends if your pool has a lot of floating debris and whether your built in skimmer does a good job. I've been pretty successful at cultivating a good circular current in my pool that empties into the skimmer so I wouldn't personally need one.
@@TheHookUp In areas with heavy rains like FL, you often end up with a water level that is above the skimmer for prolonged periods. No amount of circulation will overcome that.
@@relisys I live in Tampa, so I understand that completely. I take water out of the pool a few times a month in peak rain season.
@@TheHookUp If I had a well I might do that but I try to preserve the water because next thing you know I’ll be adding it back from the hose. 😆
What about black brushes, chains, case making black marks in the pool? will those robots also deal with algae and fine sand/dust?
How is the Wybot S2 Pro working now two month from video? Considering buying one
You rock!! Thank you so much. Agree, best review ever.
Can you tell me how the Wybot s2 pro charging dock attaches to the pool wall? I can’t find that anywhere on their website.
Great video & just what I needed as our corded Hayward robot finally died after 12 years of service. Thx!
4 very large pieces of industrial double sided tape on the mounting bracket, then the dock slides onto the bracket.
Sure do wish you would have included the 2024 Degrii Zina pro. 4 motors, 2 baskets, 4 sonars and it goes up the wall to lift.
Sorry Zima not zina.
@@TheHookUp Thank you!
The Lydsto P1 corded is down to below $500 now. Does Lydsto have ultra fine filter options?
Can you test radar detectors? There is so many options and so many different price points and it’s hard to make a choice.
@VortexRadar here on RUclips is your guy for Radar Detectors. That's not a subject area I'm particularly familiar with.
Wish the maytronics corded was included, it’s the most popular on Amazon and works amazingly well
These are all cordless, wouldn't have made any sense to include a tethered unit.
Won't the Beatbot AquaSense Pro do the surface too?
