Super helpful! This has been the first car that I've wanted to utilize all the bells and whistles, and you did an awesome job showing them. This should be a training video for salesman to show the detailed features post purchase that would help with the buyer's post purchase anxiety. With so much going on in the deal, it would be great to have something like this that shows just how much the car has to offer to reinforce the product. If the dealership were to offer some "training" like this a couple of days after the sale, then it would produce a happy buyer (and referrals). I like my purchase, but a tutorial on all the cool ”hiddden" features a few days later would make me love my purchase and a create a dedicated customer. Keep up the good work!

I have had my 2022 Honda exactly one year now and I didn't know I could lock or unlock all 4 doors--how irritating, trying to wrangle groceries, a grandson and a dog and you grab the back door handle and yank and it doesn't open! I also don't like the running lights. I also wasn't aware of how to turn off the cruise control feature or pretty much any of the things you've mentioned here in this video! Thank you!

Question, I am looking at a slightly used Pilot. The problem is it came from Canada so temp settings are displaying in celsius , the tech looked at it and said it cant be changed, do you know if this setting can be changed
Its good to see that from the 2016 pilot that i have to the 2022 pilots they still haven't figured out how to roll up all the windows with a double or triple lock button tap... A feature that a 2003 vw gti had.

No height adjustable powered tailgate on the Honda Pilots. The rearview camera only displays when the vehicle is in reverse, not away of any app or software to change that setting. Thank you for watching

Hi Chris, just purchased 2022 Honda Pilot TrailSport. Can you tell/show how to program the opening height of the power tailgate? Tried several online instructions and nothing works.
Thanks, Chris! Just for the rest of Pilot owners: there is a work around, that I found in the Honda Manual. When you park the Pilot in the garage just hold the outside button on the tailgate for more than 3 seconds and the gate will only unlock, so you can lift it up manually to the level you need. After you unload the car, press the button again and it will close the door down automatically.
We have a 2022 Pilot Black Edition (love it!!!) and I am trying to figure out how to get my power side mirrors to go in and go back out when I turn my car on and off. Is there a way? This would be so helpful as I always forget to do this and a few times we have returned to the car and the car next to has been super close!

@@kathiewhitmoyer1977 I am sharing that the side mirrors don't fold in when turning off the vehicle in the American Honda Market. They have a button next to the mirror selector that you can push in that folds in the side mirrors on selected models and trims.
But can you keep the daytime lights off permanently? I want to be able to drive with those off. Driving through Christmas light shows with those on are a pain.
You can not permanently turn off the DRLs. They can only be disabled while the vehicle is in park and automatically come on when the vehicle is in motion. Some state laws require them to be on while vehicles in motion. Thank you for watching
Thanks for this wonderful video. Can you share how to get my car out of auxiliary mode? Honda dealer said the battery was good but they noticed that the car was in auxiliary mode for a long time. That was 8 months ago, not it started again after I used the remote to start the vehicle.
If I am reading this correctly, it sounds like everything is working correctly. When using the remote start, it doesn't fully turn on the vehicle. Just the stuff to warm it up. You will have to fully start it every time you and in by applying on the brake and selecting the start button while the fob is inside. If you don't, the vehicle will just shut down. This is a safety feature to prevent someone taking off in your vehicle.
There are only a few selected models and trims with American Honda that has the powered folding side mirrors, which the button is located to the side mirror selector (L or R) if it has it.
Honda Pilot 2022 Elite, How do we add apps to the system, what apps can be added, and are there specific tow points. If we get stuck in deep sand, mud or snow, where do we attach a tow rope to get pulled out.
I think I got an ok deal. I just got a lease on Special Edition AWD sonic gray. 550 month with 6500. May not be the best deal but some what decent. The vehicle looks great.

Hello friend, I have a problem, I have a 2022 pilot but when I reverse the pilot's mirror it goes down but when I put drive the mirror always looks down and I have to put it back in its position and the same thing happens again when I put the reverse down the mirror but it does not return to its position, what can I do?
It may be turned off, you should be able to confirm that under vehicle settings. If not, tey taking off your phone case and testing it again. Not every phone is compatible, I have to find the list again. What kind of phone do you have?
To use the wireless charger, the power mode must be in ACCESSORY or ON. To charge a compatible device: 1. Place the device you want to charge on the charging area. - The system will automatically start charging the device, and the green indicator light will come on. - Make sure that the device is compatible with the system and placed with the chargeable side in the center of the charging area. 2. When charging is completed, the green indicator light will go off. - If the device is not located on the charge area correctly, the green indicator light will blink.

I have a 2022 Pilot. I notice when I use the remote start, the headlights don't come on when the car starts like other cars I've had. Is there a setting for that?
The Honda Pilots don't have wireless car play or android auto but they have Wireless phone charger on selected trim levels like the SE trim. Thank you for watching
The only thing annoying about this car is that the XM radio doesn't seem to rewind or fast-forward like in the Civic 2017. You can only skip back to the previous song. So if there's a certain part on a radio show that you want to go back to, you won't be able to. Because if you tap the < button it brings you all the way back to the start of the show or song. Unless I haven't figured out how to do it.
I honestly haven't played too much with the XM radio since I'm not allowed to look at my wifes CRV. Just to play with the cars on the lot and my old accord. I'll have to play around some

Just want to know that what was that pain which is responsible for Honda makers for not putting switch to shut all windows by remote or by dedicated one switch inside of vehicle ?! whereas it is already at key. !!!
Imagine a child or pet that sticks their head out the window, and you remotely close it and someone gets hurt. Using the key in the door puts the driver next to the vehicle and removes the liklihood of an accidental injury from closing the windows.
Here’s a question that I can’t find the answer to anywhere, but you probably have Figured it out. When I get into my Honda pilot the audio system automatically starts up the last thing that I had playing. There are numerous times that I don’t need nor want anything playing when I first enter the car and start it up… is there any way to stop this from happening? I hate to bother you with this, but I’ve looked everywhere and you’ve been really helpful in the past with your videos which I have commented on and sent you a positive review on Google, so hopefully you may know the answer to this.
I appreciate the endless support and glad that I could help you from Iowa. I don't see any settings or hidden menu options but for now the only thing that seems to work is turning off the radio beforehand.

That's not an options on the Honda Pilots, that feature is on the CR-Vs and Odysseys.

How does the tow package work?
Its capable of towing 5000 lbs for AWD and 3500 lbs for 2WD. Doesn't come standard with a hitch.

I think I got an ok deal. I just got a lease on Special Edition AWD sonic gray. 550 month with 6500. May not be the best deal but some what decent. The vehicle looks great.

Hello friend, I have a problem, I have a 2022 pilot but when I reverse the pilot's mirror it goes down but when I put drive the mirror always looks down and I have to put it back in its position and the same thing happens again when I put the reverse down the mirror but it does not return to its position, what can I do?

I just purchased the 2022 Honda trail sport pilot and the wireless car charger is not working. Is their a way to fix it ?

It may be turned off, you should be able to confirm that under vehicle settings. If not, tey taking off your phone case and testing it again. Not every phone is compatible, I have to find the list again. What kind of phone do you have?
To use the wireless charger, the power mode must be in ACCESSORY or ON.
To charge a compatible device:
1. Place the device you want to charge on the charging area.
- The system will automatically start charging the device, and the green indicator light will come on.
- Make sure that the device is compatible with the system and placed with the chargeable side in the center of the charging area.
2. When charging is completed, the green indicator light will go off.
- If the device is not located on the charge area correctly, the green indicator light will blink.

Notice a bump on the inside of the car roof
On the driver right above the third row seats towards the back
Took the car into the dealership they said it was done on purpose to go over something
They didn’t have another pilot for me to compare to

Yes, you'll see some models having a inward bump or dip in the headliner/roof creating more head room.

Once plugged in correctly, apple carplay should appear on the touchscreen, replacing the smart connection button. Thanks for watching.
I also found out that the windows will stop if there's something in its way. Not sure which windows, if only the fronts or all four.

The only thing annoying about this car is that the XM radio doesn't seem to rewind or fast-forward like in the Civic 2017. You can only skip back to the previous song. So if there's a certain part on a radio show that you want to go back to, you won't be able to. Because if you tap the < button it brings you all the way back to the start of the show or song. Unless I haven't figured out how to do it.
I honestly haven't played too much with the XM radio since I'm not allowed to look at my wifes CRV. Just to play with the cars on the lot and my old accord. I'll have to play around some

The Sport trim does NOT have a powered tailgate.
Did they fix the front end collision warning? Very, very annoying on my 2021 and the dealer states it's the most complained about feature.
That is a feature that you can turn off. I believe that I mention this in some of my walkaround videos.

Imagine a child or pet that sticks their head out the window, and you remotely close it and someone gets hurt. Using the key in the door puts the driver next to the vehicle and removes the liklihood of an accidental injury from closing the windows.

Here’s a question that I can’t find the answer to anywhere, but you probably have Figured it out.
When I get into my Honda pilot the audio system automatically starts up the last thing that I had playing.
There are numerous times that I don’t need nor want anything playing when I first enter the car and start it up… is there any way to stop this from happening?
I hate to bother you with this, but I’ve looked everywhere and you’ve been really helpful in the past with your videos which I have commented on and sent you a positive review on Google, so hopefully you may know the answer to this.
I appreciate the endless support and glad that I could help you from Iowa. I don't see any settings or hidden menu options but for now the only thing that seems to work is turning off the radio beforehand.
