That was literally the only good parenting advice Buck gave in the entire movie, he's right, you must always listen to what your kids have to say. Which makes him come off as a hypocrite cuz he doesn't listen to his son.

We moved states when I was around 9 and for some reason Chicken Little was the only movie that didn’t get packed up so I would just watch it several times a day. This went on for several weeks while we were in the process of moving. I had the entire thing memorized. I don’t remember the animation being this bad.
This was actually based off a book. It's also one of the few times where a female protag got change to a male. But it wasn't to make it a Father/Son story, it's because the movie writers thought a little girl being paranoid wouldn't get anyone to bat an eye, but people would see a little boy being paranoid as crazy. It's a pretty stupid reason.

We moved states when I was around 9 and for some reason Chicken Little was the only movie that didn’t get packed up so I would just watch it several times a day. This went on for several weeks while we were in the process of moving. I had the entire thing memorized. I don’t remember the animation being this bad.

This was actually based off a book. It's also one of the few times where a female protag got change to a male. But it wasn't to make it a Father/Son story, it's because the movie writers thought a little girl being paranoid wouldn't get anyone to bat an eye, but people would see a little boy being paranoid as crazy. It's a pretty stupid reason.
