    Hi Jolene, I have been in the film biz for over 35 years and you are an excellent camera person. Most people take for granted what you are doing but it is not lost on me one bit, no Ma'am. You make me/us feel like we are standing right there with you fine folk in the Scotia. And finally, life is about those small moments that make us all feel special, you guys are real special for the way you conduct yourselves with everybody with respect and love. I hope to come out there one day just to say hi to you guys and Jimbo, much love from Trawnna.

Bless him with a Hat, he'll never forget this as long as he lives. BTW, Chad you should consider buying a welding curtain so when your welding anything your dogs eyes get protected. You can get one for just over a hundred bucks, a lot of shops dogs go blind due to welders flash.

    HEY ALL, general question that I would appreciate some insight on from some folks more experienced in fabrication than I , which is probably anyone over 3 years old.,.😊 Thanks in advance......... So I'm building a gasifier, temperatures get up to 2000f , I don't have a sheet metal roller or a cone roller to make the tubes and cones that get that hot, I'll be using stainless steel with a melting point of 2500f, everyone uses thick stainless steel, my research has found that the melting point is ste same regardless of how thick the metal is , so my parts aren't structural, so why wouldn't I use stainless thin enough to shape by hand and spare the expense of of buying a roller and the expense of the thicker stainless steel. THANKS IN ADVANCE

  • @michaelwalsh98
    @michaelwalsh98 8 месяцев назад +2

    As a retired 30 year Welder, I never welded a tank seam with that stop and start method. I always tried to make as long a continuous weld, on a seam as possible. The stop and start method make for pinholes, if you miss the exact spot where you stopped to start again. Love the channel 😊

    • @steves2241
      @steves2241 8 месяцев назад

      I agree, and I am guessing the tank will not pass the pressure test. Then they are going to have to find the leak, or leaks, and seal them up. When you weld a gas tank you need to do a constant weld so there are no leaks. Not only does it seal the tank better, it also looks better.

  • @shake-the-earth1
    @shake-the-earth1 8 месяцев назад +1

    Thanks for the tips and tricks Chad. Thanks for the video Jolene. The baffling in the fuel tank helps keeps the fuel from slashing around and running your fuel pump dry. I can’t tell you how fantastic you and your whole team are to take the time to meet your fans. Outstanding.

  • @maxyearwood1085
    @maxyearwood1085 8 месяцев назад +9

    You really need to put baffles inside the tank to keep the fuel from sloshing and causing the pickup to starve for fuel. That is, if you plan to use a fuel gauge.
