I just watched your video on adding borders (even though it was several months ago), but it was very good and explaining the process was done very well. I've just watched your tutorial on "attaching multiple borders with miter corners" and again, the tutorial was very good. I am now subscribing! Thank you for sharing your expertise, Lisa!
This is exactly the information I needed. Your instructions were clear and easy to understand for me, a novice quilter. Thank you. I am now a new subscriber.
The line you draw is your stitching line. The line should go from the 1/4" mark to the edge of the border. You are stitching from that 1/4" mark to the edge of the border. So, when you lay your ruler down on the diagonal, the edge of the ruler should pass through the 1/4" mark...exactly.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I really like mitering borders and wanted to do multiple borders in strip sets. Great tutorial. Thank you❣️
Glad you enjoyed the video!

Welcome!!
I needed a close up of the seam at the quarter inch place.
HI Mariella. Thanks for the feedback. Sorry that I didn't include a picture of my pencil marks of the 1/4" marks. Lisa
So you do not sew or mark on the outside of that 1/4 in mark

😂😂😂what do you mean by going through the 1/4 in mark ?
It's the point where both 1/4" marks meet.
