Excellent work. You have figured out how to do something that is very complicated and requires great concentration to execute without making a mistake. If fine particles from grinding , polishing and welding could be completely removed the lifetime of the rebuild may be extended. Possibly by running an hour and then changing the oil by a fill plug that would have to be installed. Also, have you considered replacing those thin metal valve parts? They appeared to have worn out a bit. I appreciate that you did this without any new parts which may be the only way to just barely earn a living from this service. Waving your hand back and forth to block the light while welding allows you to work faster but be very careful not to make a mistake. Consider wearing UV block glasses, the will do quite a bit of good if you have to use the hand waving technique to weld fast. Some of the UV glasses only block UV and have nearly no tint.
(I know I am Recycling this very same comment on a different restoration video but it is because both videos deserved the same accolade and not because I was too lazy to write two separate comments) I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching your restoration video. You truly have a great talent and have the patience to do this with great care and attention to detail. Great Job My Friend, Great Job! Luciano G.
What a great video. You took your time with everything. It shows how important when doing a job for someone you really care. A true trade's men. We need more of that around the world.
Thank you . Nice job. I learned a lot from you!! I wish I would have known this along time ago makes me want to me ake portable air CV compressor out of it..
Nice repair work. I may have the confidence to repair my a/c compressor should it ever have similar issues. I still wonder how economical it is to send it that far away for repairs, shipping has to be expensive from New York. New one may be cheaper.
Now that was an awesome restoration. This is the first time I have seen inside one of those things. I am going to subscribe to your channel. Take care and keep up the good work. Ken from California USA
Its great job looks like professional just two quick comments, when u paint it or spray it cover the connection pins, also need new relay and overload, good man and good Job
Honestly, amazing video. Question, I think USA use 110 V whereas and this country they used 220v, meaning I did not see him using any converter when he started the compressor. please correct me if I was wrong. TIA
Tac a few spots around the lid before you run a bead, then use the stepping method, your welds will look better and your piece won’t warp to heat if you stop ever inch or two
People who restore things should be the ones leading nations.
Very good work 🎉
Like from India
Always wondered what the inside of those looked like. Thanks for showing. Great skills with minimal fancy equipment too!
Really great work

First of all, you cut it wrong, then you spray painted it with a spray bottle that will deteriorate in the heat, but you did a great job. ❤ 🇵🇰
How did he cut it wrong?

You are a very smart guy. The way you rebuilt the compressor was great keep up the good work.

Love that the sandals stay on for the welding. MVP.
You have more paint on that compressor than most new cars come with from the factory... very nice job, you look like you've done that a few times...
I didnt know you could fix these compressors. Now i will be fixing instead of throwing away. Cool video.
