Sir . . . thank you for taking the time to make and post this video. After a few weeks of frustration and watching other videos that did not work, your video did the trick. If you are reading this comment and are experiencing trouble with your printer, be sure to follow the exact steps he is saying. It definitely worked for me, and I hope it will for you, too.
Excellent info! We use a circa 2015, Epson WF-7620 large format. Inside mechanisms are similar. I have had the machine for thousands of prints. It's OK -- except I frequently encounter this Error 0x69, phantom lid switch and others -- your tips were outstanding! I was about to give up, and Google took me here. Your examination, and even the little paper towel wad tip for the lid switch were spot on! After a couple of tries, our goner machine revived! Thank you sir -- you'll save many machines from the landfill :)
ABSOLUTELY WORKED!!!YOU ARE THE MAN!!!This is replacement WF3640 from Epson After 1st started throwing codes. Was disappointed when got Ox69 right off bat. YOU FIXED IT THOUGH!
Omg life saver! I literally just did the exact same thing you did and my printer instantly worked when I plugged it back in, it was like watching a mirror image of your printer but in real time lol. Thank you so much!!
Hello, I have benefited a lot from watching this video. Mine is also an Epson WF3640. I recently encountered a problem to ask: my printer's ink cart is broken. I removed the ink cart and shelf from another machine and replaced it with this printer On. The printer is turned on normally. However, when I start printing, the printer keeps feeding paper, until the paper in the tray runs out, and then it prompts the printer to run out of paper. And sometimes it does: The normal situation is that the printer will not automatically load the paper after printing a sheet. But I changed this printer with the ink cart, but after printing a sheet of paper and finishing printing, the printer automatically rolls up a sheet of paper and automatically goes to the paper outlet that location!
Thanks for making this video. I had the exact same issue and I fixed my printer by using what you have shown in this video. Can't express my appreciation enough.
This is incredible. I cannot believe this worked. Thank you for the warning. We have been burned in the past by scammers. You are awesome! Have a fantastic week!
Congratulations on the explanation and warning! Let me ask you if this error code also applies to the Epson WF-7610 printer. I have that printer code and don't do anything.
i have epson xp-720.. whenever i try to scan ..their is like a bang big sound and i get an error printing 0x45. what should i do? iam scanning not printing
one of two things fixed mine,i done both so not sure which of the two fixed it,, one is i flushed out where the cartridges go they were partially clogged, using an empty syringe and small piece of tubing filled with cleaner solution flushing them out one by one, the other i tore the printer apart where the circuit board is and found a small tiny fuse , think it was labeled f1 and put a solder bead across it bypassing the fuse thats made to blow ..well no more blowing a fuse ever again and its cleaned and working well so far now for about a year
Hi i have this error but nothing moves or no other error msg comes on n any button i press it says invslid action. I saw in some video it said i need to see the fuse...but befor i changed my ink to new ones EVERYTHING worked perfectly...now its a brick...can u advice? My model no is wf 2661
0x97 is the head drive circuit excessive voltage. You have a short somewhere. It is either the FFC to the head is burned, or the mainboard failure. You probably need printhead, FFC cable, or a mainboard.

Check your PE sensor and sensor lever.

What about WF-3640 error after carriage goes to left side and there is a screeching sound? I am out of ideas and most videos don't answer back.
Look at the back of the cartridge carriage. There is a clear belt. Make sure it is not caught by the carriage.
Didn’t work for me March 16 2021
