EXCELLENT DIAGONISTIC TROUBLE SHOOTING. Great explanation but you need to understand Spanish. Basically, he is saying the printer head if soaked with ink blows the F1 fuse on the board. I've had so many printer head problems with this EPSON. Clogged printer head, cleaning after cleaning, ribbon cable replacement, printer head replacement and now the 0x9A error. I own the WF-7620 and thought it was a quality product but I was wrong. Thanks EPSON.
So the fuse is to protect a machine and then because of the fuse being damaged the machine is broken! - there is no logic here, the result is the same. How can anyone build a product so it is so difficult to access the motherboard. It is so unecological that it is so difficult to replace a fuse. A fuse needs to protect the device but also needs to be easily replaceable itself. The motherboard fixing service is so expensive, new motherboard is expensive. Most people will throw away all machine and buy a new one. This way of manufacturing needs to stop. The amount of electrical waste for a household is unbelievable and pure waste of money, not mentioning all the issues with disposing electrical waste.
@@kateydrummer You can take the whole printer or the board with the blowen fuse somewhere for professional repair. In the video it's recommended not to BYPASS the fuse. Well that's exactly what I did by putting a drop of solder across. ITS BEEN WORKING NORMALLY SINCE. Even so, it's alot of work to get board out of the machine and reassembled. Good luck.
@@kateydrummer I agree with you whole statement. Most user will just throw out the printer. What a waste. Ink drying in the print head is my biggest headache.
@@arseniorodriguez8055 The service would cost around 100 pounds, the printer was 200 pounds. It still does not make sense and no warranty that this will help.
@@arseniorodriguez8055 The drying ink was the reason why I started in the first palce. I needed to reach the printer head to clean it. All done and then the fuse is gone - which you do not know until you unscrew the whole machine and check the motherboard. I disassembled the whole printer now, that is not for normal people definitely!, waiting for the fuse and we will see if it will work again.... Literally, to get to the motherboard you need to unscrew every single screw. It was just the front metal panel of the motherboard which could had been easily taken off a dozen steps before if designed properly, so you can access the F1 Fuse. But no, the screw of the access panel was behind the plastic part of the printer case which could not be removed. No way to unscrew without taking the whole motherboard out! Unbelievable....
@@arseniorodriguez8055 Thank you for the video! It took the whole day to research what happened, finally your video gave me the answer! Thank you again
