hey guys. I got fatal error 08H on my printer. I read that it means either motor or board error. but what usually they means? the printer can start and move but in 2-3 second will stuck and both led turn blinking orange / red. My main suspect is sensor?
when you test the fuse does it matter what side the red and black lead is on? I tested my F1 and get no response but if I switch the red and black lead I get a response where the F2 fuse I get a response both ways.

I when you an Epson repair center, and the printer was fixed,but when I got home, I connected to wifi , and when I did it the printer asked for an update, when it rebooted the error 031006 came back, I’m thinking that the reason that error started to begin with, was because the power supply, is damaged and that’s why it cause that problem again after it rebooted
the printer new i took print head something has to do with the ribbon brand new printer to head out to put in my printer 031006 i put it back in the new printer now that printer is reading 031006. how is this posible when its NEW

Maybe. The Epson is 48V and yours is 32V. Put it on and if you see fireworks or smell bacon, then it's not going to work. Buy American, bro! The fuse is protecting the printhead and the two Infineon MOSFETs. You don't want to AliExpress it.

If you see the red light (the PF scale sensor), then the power train should work, so the Infineon (most expensive) MOSFETs are good. If the LCD doesn't work, then I will look at the FFC connection for the LCD panel. It may not be a fuse problem.

The warranty people was suppose to send a replacement 4 days ago via overnight shipping..The replacement, I was told , will be a refurbished unit. They are replacing my brand new unit that went kaput with a repaired unit. What can I do? After following up on the delivery, They again promised to send the replacement unit via express overnight shipping today. That didn't happen. No email information as they promised. Zero. Nada. Zilch. For a major printer company, this is not good. Shaq will not be proud.
Epson usually gives me two options: 1) return it and get a new unit. They will need to receive the old unit, check it, then ship their new printer, and 2) I instantly get a refurbished printer and I have 30 days to return the old unit. You need to tell them specifically how you want the warranty to be handled.
