The output speed sensor is attached to the valve body as well at the TCM. Neither are replacable individually so a new valve body will need to be purchased from the dealer (due to TCM being VIN locked and need to be programmed by dealer).
You will find the valve body after draining the transmission fluid and removing the pan. At 7:00 the valve body is visible on the underside of the car

He most likely replaced the valve body. The TCM and output sensor are attached and not sold/repairable individually. I had the same code come up last week leaving my 14 q50 undrivable. Currently looking for the most cost effective way to fix this as the valve body alone without label costs $2,000 at the dealer. From my understanding dealer is the only way to go since the tcm is programmed and locked to your vehicles specific vin

@@slickmastajay Damn wtf I just got the p0720 code on my 2014 q I just changed the valve body on the car but it won’t switch gears at all. So your saying I would have to go through the dealer to get the code unlocked that’s locked my car.

@dxveBrazy Same here on our 14 QX70. This is the second time for us. I replaced the valve body and the sensor and it didnt work. We ended up replacing the transmission with a good used one and the same thing came back 30k miles later. Idk what to do now.

@@marceliusnelson3717 Yea this is a major problem with Infiniti and their cars. I’m gonna contact corporate because this seems like it’s happening to everyone who buys this car. And it’s early on I just hit 80k on my car with good maintenance.

@@dxvetg def keep us posted on that. I'm done with all Nissan after this bro. If I fix this car again, well have like $5k into it, that's literally half of what the car is worth. Only had it 3 years. Smh...
