Nothing about programming/reprogramming the TCM. Was it needed or not? Just a lot of clicking around in the Diag tool. Maybe it would have made more sense if the title was "Consult-III plus diagnostic tool user interface"
@@BestCarFixes Please make a video of actually repogramming it. I have Consult III Plus but do not know the procedure. I am about to replace the entire valve body with TCM
My Q50 won’t drive faster then 40 - and I replaced the TCM and Speed sensors and the dealer updated the software on the computer and they say the 4 codes are still present
@@adivasi7582 yea that's why it's always best to have your own scanner so you can reset the codes. The dealer was probably trying to trick you into buying a transmission. Does the vehicle drive good now? Did you get everything fixed?
Hello, I had an output speed sensor code and I put a used valve body in my 2014 Q50, and now the Manual shifting is not working correctly! What could it be? Everything else works fine
@@imfreshfase4568 you will need a completely different valve body and you can only get it from the dealer I was quoted 3k to fix mine your better off getting another transmission from an older q50 same year and just have the shop install it

I just bought a used valve body from ebay and my car still stuck at 3rd i ask the seller if i need to reprogram the tcm they said yes. Do you think i need to reprogram it? I dont wanna waste 200$ if i dont need it
I reprogram it and still got the same issue, i figure it out the valve body i bought on ebay is fit only on m37, m56 and q70 on the description said fit any 3.7 q50 q60 and g37 basically u really need the one fit on your car same model year and trim

Yes
I had to get. New valve body. All issues were resolved. All codes cleared and car ran like new.
Did you buy from Infiniti or aftermarket?
Bought it from the Nissan dealer.
How much does a job like this cost to get done ?

Did you replace the TCM with one from eBay or OEM? Also did you replace the whole valve body or just the TCM?
@@l3gacy430 TCM and sensors - no other codes were found, yet, the software wasn’t updated the dealership lied 🤥
@@adivasi7582 where did you get the TCM? From the dealer or eBay/Amazon? The issue might be that you need a new OEM valve body
