Where you give an overview of the dynamic data capabilities of the chosen themes. 2) My 3 or 4 top themes for building a woocommerce site. Again where you give an overview of the woocommerce features/ integration of the chosen themes.
I mean they are okay but paid theme are miles better and come with complex features so in the end you save so much time. sometimes they are for sale on pulpocean for like 4 bucks
@@fajarnurarifin7807 it depends more on what YOU add to them when building your sites. Both will easily get you into the 90's on GPSI if you optimise your content, images and keep plugins to a minimum. :)

Great stuff as usual. These are the 4 themes that I use most, with Astra Pro being my first choice and GP being my last. As you said, all are fantastic options in their own way. I find Kadence and Blocksy to be nearly identical. I’ve also used Neve and OceanWP to great success. Neve is pretty awesome! Thank you as always.
with Blocksy, doesn't seem to be a way to swap out the home page background graphic. How do I do it? using either Elementor or the Gutenberg block editor, does not seem to be a way to find where it's defined

Something I don't understand and maybe you can shed some light on this issue: Why would I settle for a theme/builder combo, which is still pretty restrictive, if I can have full control over every aspect of my website using the oxygen builder? Is it just ease of use? Using predesigned templates? Am I missing something? (Plus: the oxygen builder is a one-time purchase, rather than a subscription based service)

I'm using Blocksy and I love it! I had a really hard time finding a block plugin that I liked. I felt like there were so many to choose from. I ended up with Generate Blocks, which I really love-especially for it's dynamic data. I didn't know about GeneratePress when I chose Blocksy, but I think Blocksy (pro) is awesome. It was so hard to choose.
My stack as well. So fast, flexible and reliable, it’s a dream come true. Also recently grabbed a licence for Greenshift, which is very interesting, but I don’t have enough experience with it to decide whether I’d actually recommend it (esp. code quality etc.)
hi Paul i have a question please, what is the newest and best marketplace theme out there today? there are many really old ones being promoted but i think are dated.
It all depends how deep you need to go with dynamic data. Blocksy Pro offers good support for basic ACF functions without the need for additional plugins. GenerateBlocks free and pro have support for a lot of ACF data, but not more advanced field types. For more advanced functionality you’ll need to look at something like Cwicly if you want to go the Gutenberg route or Bricks if you want more of a builder like experience.
Blocksy is one of my favorites but i akways have the problem with the "scroll to id menu header" wordpress autoselects those navigations or if you are on another page like the blog you cannot use the navigations. Anyone know how to fix? ❤

These are all available with the self hosted version of WordPress. It sounds like you’re using the commercial version of WordPress which has more restrictions on what can be used and installed.
This whole thing confuses me. I bought Blocksy pro, had a terrible time using it and had awful support so I returned it. I tried 2 pet oriented themes from themeisle and they didn't work. I then got elementor pro. Having a tough time but great support so slowly working through. I ended up with the hello child theme. Should I use a different theme to help with all my bugs and how does elementor interact with them? I originally had a food blog and bought a theme from 17th ave. All I had to do was plug in my own info. It was mobile responsive. It's great but not for this new site I want. I am having a hard tome getting things tablet and mobile responsive and also ising containers. Should I get a theme and if so will all the work I have done be lost?

I’m assuming you’re using WordPress.com instead of self hosting WordPress? If that is the case, then you may need a certain type of account to be able to install additional themes or plugins.

@@oliveropitz2955 you will have more flexibility with a self hosted version of WordPress for sure. But just make sure you’re happy with the small amount of technical knowledge that comes with hosting services and choose one with dedicated WordPress hosting a good support and you should be fine. 👍💪

When I stepped away from Elementor about three years ago, I've tested all of these 4 themes... I bought Kadence and didn't regret it a single second. The whole Ecosystem, that comes with the full bundle is amazing!

By landing page I assume you mean a page that doesn't include a header and a footer? If so, yes. You can disable those elements in the right side bar in Gutenberg for the page or pages you need. It's a couple of simple check boxes. :)

so many 'page builders', etc. all have kinks, and most have multiple plugin dependencies which also depend on 'pro' versions to function correctly. none work well with the native wordpress and almost all have a bait-to-pay bent. one function unless you pay per year. how about a one-time price for a plugin? the bait-to-pay model is what sucks the most about modern wordpress.

Did exactly what you did with blocksy step by step and either your lying about it being free because you have a pro account or this is an old video that your lying about the release date BECAUSE 1) my edit screen looks nothing like your edit screen and 2) when I import the exact same template you did there is no demo data like yours to view or edit. All there is is a menu header bar and what looks like blog post thumbnails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i want is a free template to use as an online resume and I've been looking for 2 days now. Everything you click on and download removes all the demo content and requires you to build on your own. Then you come to a video like this that makes it appear its simply click, drag and drop ease. LIES LIES LIES LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your screen is black mines white. Your screen offers colors, fonts, features and options. Mine asks me to choose a color for text and I do and the text doesn't change color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!! When did Wordpress become so complicated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all, you need to adjust your attitude and making accusations about me lying! ALL of the content in this video is based 100% on exactly what each of these themes offer in their FREE versions. There are no pro versions being used. If you’re having an issue with any of the themes, I’d suggest you reach out to the relevant support channels and request help and not come here ranting about me lying. For starters, have you installed the Blocksy Companion plugin that you need to also install? The dark editor in Blocksy is a simple switch at the bottom of the customiser screen. I could go on, but you’re going to get more success finding out where the issue is via the official support channels. 🤷🏼♂️

It's doesn't have much features in the free version like Kadence and Blocksy
It's considerably older than both Kadence and Blocksy and while it has some interesting features, I personally don't think it is as good as Blocksy.

Blocksy is a WordPress theme that you install via the Appearance > Themes menu in the WordPress dashboard.

Mine asks me to choose a color for text and I do and the text doesn't change color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!! When did Wordpress become so complicated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For starters, have you installed the Blocksy Companion plugin that you need to also install?
The dark editor in Blocksy is a simple switch at the bottom of the customiser screen.
