#Frasier Frasier comes to Boston to reconnect with his son. Harvard University Dean wants to hire him for psychology post as professor. TJ Cast Kelsey Grammer
Loved Frasier - especially S1-7. The overall quality dropped severely in S8-11 (with occasional brilliant episodes). This is just dire made even more annoying with the awful laughter track. Will give it a chance but not very hopeful.
......he moves away from his son during his son's entire childhood, then claims he wants to be a part of his life & being a good dad is important to him, and shows up unexpectedly being pushy.....geeez.....our old Frasier would eventually see that a little clearer~
For those of you who are curious... (0:10) He says "I have a Targashima A5..." and I believe that he meant a "Takamori A5". (0:27) The window next to that door is on backwards. The shelf-style muntins are decorative and go on the outside. When it zooms in on David you can see the window across the hall is hung properly and when Freddy is out in the hallway you can see the window is flat on the outside. (0:55) Even if you want to argue that muntins are for dorks, you have to explain why the frost is on the hallway side so any peeping tom can scratch himself out a good look. (1:20) "Preeminent" comes from the Latin "prae-" meaning "before" and "eminere" meaning "those who stand out". I prefer "primus inter pares" myself, but to each their own. (1:28) Like all vintages, "McCallan 25" is released yearly and retail-available bottles range from $899 to $4,999. (1:43) We know Eve is a bartender, but the two bottles on that top shelf behind Freddie have pour spouts. Bartenders instinctively remove pour spouts or, at the bare minimum, place a Dixie cup over them so they don't attract insects. (2:39) We get a really good look at the McCallan label; it appears to be a 2020. McCallan is a sherry, for those of you who are aficionados of the TV series "Frasier". Not this "Frasier", mind you, but "Frasier". (2:47) There is a zero-percent chance Freddy the firefighter lives in an apartment where the front door violates both ADA and fire code by having the hydraulic door closer too close to the hinges. I also question the wisdom of having zero locking mechanism on the communal door of an apartment building and that handle appears to be a "pull"-style handle instead of a "push" plate, though there is no "pull" or "push" sticker to confirm my suspicions. (2:49) It bothers me that he says, "Right. The baby." as if he hasn't lived with this child for several months and long come to call him "John". I know it's three words, but that's only one word less than, "As you know, Bob..."
THIS LOOKS AWESOME I HEARD THAT THE OTHER CAST IS GOING TO RETURN AND CAMEOS THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT BUT I'M GLAD THAT KELSEY GRAMMER REPRISING HIS ROLE OF DR FRASIER CRANE😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 WHAT A LEGENDARY ACTOR 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
What is it with sequel series and having characters unlearn all of the lessons they learned in the original?? Most of the original Frasier episodes focused on Frasier accepting that some of his family just want to relax without all the forced finery, and that they all love each other regardless of where on the 'posh' scale they fall. Judging on these clips, the show just seems like someone watched half of an episode of original Frasier and then described it to someone else a year later, who then wrote this script. And Niles' kid is just a generic nerd character doing an actually quite good impression of Niles' voice, even when it was set up in the original that David took more after Daphne's side of the family. And even if they switched it; Niles was SO much more than just generic nerd, especially after getting with Daphne. My hopes were at 0 when I heard David Hyde Pierce wouldn’t return, but congrats to the writers, they managed to push it into the negatives.
I just watched the first episode. It is awful. Nothing funny happens. It feels like the writers were fans of The Big Bang Theory and not Frasier. If you loved the Big Gang Theory you will love the new Frasier. If you like humor you should probably go back and watch the old Frasier.
Terrible. Just watched the first two episodes. You can tell it was written by the guy that did How I met your Mother. Unfunny, Crap premise and dislikeable new actors as stand ins for the original cast. It also makes no damn sense. Last time we saw Freddy he was a Goth...now he's a Fireman. What?!
@@notsureiL I'm 42 and yes I do. Guess what I was trying to say with that comment was that they could've played with that idea. Anything would've been better that what they came up with.
Oh dear god. First episode was painful to watch. Bad writing, poor jokes, zero chemistry or charisma. They couldn't even think up a nice homage to Martin. 3/10. Awful, daytime tv level.
The head of the psychology department at Harvard just drops by to help out in the kitchen...yeah, that would never happen in a mlion years. Lazy sexist writing!
Love Frasier but the old Frasier is the best 😍
Some things are best left untouched
My favorite line “I’m no stranger to an underperforming dinner party “.
I'm a huge fan of "the kind of place one would expect to fight a cartoon mouse over a scrap of bread".
something just doesn't seem right,
I missed Frasier 💕
It's Rodney, where's Delboy?
Laughter after every sentence thats being said is so fake as not every thing is funny.
Yeah, but it's filmed in front of a live audience.
Even with a real audience it sounds like a bad laugh track.
Intetesting to see that NO ONE is giving this a chance. Just like I feared.
Blimey, it's really bad
It is like watching toxic paint dry.
Sounds like you were inhaling paint. It's a good show and will probably get better.
I really like it! It's different and I love how he is trying to reconnect with his son!
When a tooth is rotting and giving you pain, it's best to have it pulled rather than suffer through torture with every bite or sip of liquid.

I managed 1 and a bit episodes.
Its god awful.
The intrusive almost constant laughter track is quite something alright. It sounds like an audience being forced to laugh at gunpoint...
......he moves away from his son during his son's entire childhood, then claims he wants to be a part of his life & being a good dad is important to him, and shows up unexpectedly being pushy.....geeez.....our old Frasier would eventually see that a little clearer~
The channel has posed a very apt question: What's so funny...?
Nothing.
Not this!
Funny!!
Oh God I hope it gets better. That was painful.
Gave me "Joey" vibes. I give it one season. It's shocking.
It won't. The cast sucks. IMO.
my god its awful, they butchered a wonderful show
That's your brain tumor. The show's actually really good.
Grammer is still Frasier, and Lyndhurst is promising, but the others… just aren’t very good. Poor acting and overacting.
The laugh track is terrible

The laugh track just makes everything worse.
Not a laugh track.
@@alphanerd7221If the audience is laughing at THIS, then they're robots.
No Niles, no party.
Why's everybody crying? 😢
No one wants to come to my party 😢
About as much charm as a dead Leprechaun
Funny thing is the actor who played Martin Crane was British but change his accent and the actor playing Freddie also British changed his accent
They've got to have at least a joke about that somehow
John Mahoney lived in the US and served in the military. He was born in Britain but didn't "just change his accent"
I tried,it isn't good. Wanted to, just nothing to see.sorry. I prefer the real Frasier in reruns. That's where the joy lives.

Sounds about right.
