I have gravel so need to come up with a different wheel system - we also have a 901SB and agree with craftsmanship! Excited for that next video - cheers
@blanchcheezy Thanks for watching...we do need to get the word out about Adventurer and Scout truck campers. I do have plans for the 901SB videos to cover the many flaws in manufacturing. We will have lots to talk about for sure!
Thats awesome. Nice job on that dolly. I had to go with the Rieco-Titan dolly as I cant load my camper in the garage. My ceiling at 11.5 is just high enough for my Lance camper but it wont clear the garage door frame. So I use my dolly with a hitch attachment to pull the camper in and out of garage. Yours is the best one I have seen for an inside loading application.
Great concept and idea. I want to build one for our camper, but never thought of using outdoor carpet. Great idea.. can’t wait to see a video of your 901sb, we have the same issue poor craftsman ship all around. But great video ..!
The Art&Sunny Show. We just returned yesterday from a 2K mile trip thru Death Valley and Vegas. Our 901SB does have many issues with fit and finish. If I didnt know better, I would say the guy that put it together was High ! Planning on a video soon. Thank you for the comment.
Nice build! Compared to what I built in a few hours from lumber, this truck camper dolly is a Cadillac. I'd much rather have this puppy versus a Rieco-Titan factory built unit.
Just saw your video love the platform. We are looking at the 901sb would love to hear about the good and bad from your perspective of the camper and things to look for.
@bobelliott9790.I cut and welded 2" angle iron. A few years ago I bought an "Evolution" metal cut saw, which makes quick work of cutting the 45 degree cuts for this project. Cut, drill and weld. Thank you!
Rob Hall. Thanks Rob...the caster bases are simply 1/4 x 2" angle iron cut and welded at the corners. I did weld in a flat bar to help suppot the wood 4x4 posts. This project was a one and done project.
Great design! Thanks for sharing. I'm totally going to build one of these for my camper.

Just curious if you ever came up with a different wheel system as I have gravel too and need to make plans for storage soon? Thanks.
@kens.5140 nope haha
Nice video. The brackets you welded are very clever.

I have a small pop up truck camper.
I bought a 4x8 flat trailer to set the camper on.
Colt Winchester, That is a great idea !
Do you have a picture? We are trying to figure out an option for the camper we just bought!
Showing how it worked & rolled around with the camper on it would had been nice?

Sir. im sure i dont have to tell you this... but you could absolutely market this design.. for us poor folk...
Thank you.

Yes Thank you. The Rieco-Titan is one I has seen on line and thought it was over priced for a glorified bed frame. Thank you again !
Very nice job !
Thank you! Cheers!
Like your design … trying to find the 4x4 post mount, that mates with the caster you’ve got, and not having a lot of luck. Where did you get them?
thank you for sharing sir..

Nice! A+
Thanks!
Where did you get the metal plates that the 4x4's and wheels connect to ?

Really nice camper dolly. Did you custom fabricate the post bases that bolt to the casters?

Were did you find the 4x4 brackets that attach to the wheel & the 4x4?
@debig2742. I made the caster bracket out of 2 inch angle iron. Just cut the outside 45° angles and welded them up.
