    I love it! I so want to learn but I have never painted in my life. Something special about ink and paper with those brushes :)

    It's one thing seeing a painting already made and another seeing how the position of the brush and arm movement are used. Beautiful work! Thank you :) I'm sure this year it's particularly useful to have this video ;)

    Thank you for doing a simple painting. I'm a beginner and struggle to paint something complicated. I often practice just one stroke many times. It's nice to have a simple painting that doesn’t take a lot of time. It feels free. How do I know if I have sized paper?

      Hello Marlene! Thank you for your comment. To detect the sizing on the paper you use, add a small stroke of water to the paper on the front side. Then check the back side. If the water goes all the way through it is raw paper. If it does not go through at all, it is fully sized. If it goes through partially, it is semi-sized paper.
