As a Leicester fan from Pakistan, I am delighted to see this. Our owners are one of the most ambitious owners in this world. They are taking the club into the right direction.
As a City fan for 30 years this looks absolutely amazing, Leicester City becoming a bigger club. Does anyone think the KP group will extend the West stand eventually aswell?
That ground design looks to me like a mirror image of the east stand is in the owners/architects minds. Get the east stand done, fill it, grow the clubs international fan base then expand the west stand! Our owners are incredibly astute.
So proud at what we have achieved and we have become a force i remember the days of in and out of PL but them days are long gone lets hope we get top 4 this season.

Why would anyone think that Leicester City could attract 40,000 in the Championship? Their time in the Premier League is coming to an end and with it a lot of the fair weathered support. If they have a 25,000 capacity that should do them nicely next year.
I worked on the ground 20 years ago, fitting the air conditioning throughout the new ground. They were so short of money we had to create our own openings in the walls of the toilets to pass the ducting through as they had let the Labourers go to save money ! Times change indeed.

They build the new stand behind the original. Stadium will be fully operational apart from a few weeks at the end where they merge them together
