I had to give up watching this as the sound of the transition makes it sound like you're hitting your microphone and it was just irritating me. Agree on the case of the expansion looks a bit lopsided
Bollocks and Tigers capacity being the highest is down to no segregation at rugby games An by the way Leicester do sell out, it tends to be away fans who can't sell their allocations
I'd assume they can... but the chances of them ever doing so in our lifetimes are rather low. Leicester isn't the biggest city capable of maintaining such an average attendance. And we'd need a return to the cheap tickets approach of the past AND a hope for both a drop in alternative interests and the club having repeated and sustained success over multiple seasons to trigger such increased interest. Can they do that in the Premier League with all the historically bigger clubs (in bigger cities) around them wanting and trying to do the same? I doubt it, and with no disrespect intended.
@zeeox TBF Leicester metro area in itself is well over 500,000, and every town in Leicestershire predominantly Leicester City supporters, you do get some Forest fans in Loughborough and some Cov fans in Hinckley and a few Derby fans in Ashby, but you're probably talking a total potential support in Leicestershire of over 1 million. WBA fan btw, so unbiased opinion.
@@zeeoxabsolute bs, Leicester the 10th biggest city in England. Sunderland a town a lot smaller then Leicester has a a 49,000 capacity stadia. Leicester biggest problem like most cities is to get the natives to support their local town and not glory hunt.
When done kind of looks 25% done and should be done exactly the same to all 4 stands and be symmetrical throughout and probably would take capacity too closer to 60k but would be beautiful stadium. Kind of reminds me of Anfield expansion which after Anfield road end seems 50% done and should do other two stands to match.
@@ENGBriseBprobably depends on the demand for tickets. If there is a long wait for season tickets and this expansion doesn’t add enough seats and Leicester have enough money to build further they will start plans soon after this is done but who knows for sure
Would be good if they wrapped the blue dome around the whole ground like Bayern's Allianz Arena.
That will look amazing when it’s finished

This sound when a new image is shown is awful
Jesus, that transition was abrupt.
it needs this new expansion but will look a bit lob sided best if the opposite stand done aswell
They could maybe look to do that one in the future
they struggle to fill what they already have....their highest attendance at King Power is 32,500 held by Leicester Tigers, a Rugby Union Club....

@@djstuc your History is piss poor, your support is bollocks, never won in Europe...stick to Rugby Union.
Expansion looks really good. Can they replicate that stand opposite and take it up to 50k in the future?

They can’t because of the river that runs behind the opposite side of the ground they could do the sides tho
Interesting to learn, thanks! I didn't know it was so tight that side! @@danielsimmons8068

When it’s gonna be done?

DO you know when this is going to start, LCFC site just gives plans and vision , seem to have been talking about it for a long time
It’s a very bland looking stadium
Hopefully this expansion will make it look much better
Tbh, it is. Even as a Leicester fan, it needs some improvements.
Its the classic cheap identikit stadium that was being built around that time.
i just see it as simple
Why don't they do both sides. Wasted opportunity.
One side at a time
How long missing a trick. Once it's done do the other side. Another 10 year wait.

Too bad they got relegated. Just sad. They might not even get promotion again. And they'd still do this? lol.
Never happen.
