    Nice and peaceful place. Every city requires one of these where you can chill out. Great place to come to I suppose anytime of the day. Thanks for taking us around.

    This is one of the two big park projects in bangkok . If government from politicians, the land will be for commercial and undertable corruption . But for Prayuth our prime minister, so many good projects for the thai people

    Usually exercise at this park when in BKK as its quite close to soi 16 where I normally stay. I've accessed the area you point to at approx. the 13:00 mark in the video and rarely see many other people there (Benakitti Forest Park - 61 rai).

    I think there is a plan to expand this park. The Tobacco plant will be move out from there and replaced with another park include museum as well and linking to Lumpini park

    • @nvan78
      @nvan78 4 года назад +3

      Yes, the Tobacco Monopoly is moving everything to Ayutthaya area. Should be great when completed, I think there is an indoor sport facility to be included.

    Thank you for another beautiful video. I would like to know if The Pun-Pun Bike Share is still around Bangkok. The bicycles are a great start to go around town and visit some parks also. Thanks again.

    So there are 2 different parks with similar names; Benjasiri and Benjakitti. Is that right?

    • @globaltravelmate
      @globaltravelmate  4 года назад +4

      Yes correct. Benjakitti is at Asoke and Benjasiri at Phrom Phong

    How far is the walking path in this park again? Is it maybe 3+ kilo? Seems like a nice place to go speed walks or slow jogs. 😀

    • @globaltravelmate
      @globaltravelmate  4 года назад +1

      The walk around the water is about 1800 meters.

    Same thing in all the parks in Thailand, building something. Then you'll think everything is OK and usable, then after a couple of years, they'll be building or changing something else, and it will all be closed again. Same with the roads, endless construction, and then re-construction, it's all about corruption, just leaving something alone doesn't generate money.
