It took Jane almost an episode to escape jail meanwhile it took Michael scholfield an entire season to escape from prison.

It's almost like a county jail and prison are two entirely different things.

Schofield could escape easily but he has to take his brother too...plus jane was not planning the aftermath.... Scofield has to take others with him due to the aftermath of not getting caught
Mike had to escape a whole damn cell block essentially too though hahaha. Jail is also way easier than prison. In the jail I spent time in, there was a corner where they walked you to yard. That literally was just one fence between you and outside and some old barbed wire. The fence was all loose on the ground where erosion had taken the dirt down the hill, no grass etc. Prison ain't gonna have any spots like that.

Yep. Even the man he killed - he didn't rape him. Sex was consensual, then he killed.
With the exception of stealing the jacket, this would be a perfectly legal escape in Germany
He helped his cell mate and he helped the alpha male in the prison. And he escaped to solve the case, not necessarily to get out of prison. That's why, even though he can be a jerk sometimes, but ultimately he has people's best interests at heart.
What Jane did here is a Master Class in "investigation" and very intelligent thoughts. It's funny how he gaves a piece of cake to the other man in the cell. Everything he did is with perfect patience and timming. Sometimes I wonder if Jane IS the most intelligent of men. He hears everything..he see everything and then he makes a perfect plan.

The funniest thing for me is, except for mentally scaring that guard this would be legal in m country, since your desire for freedom is protected by law. So you technically are allowed to prison break as long as you don’t break any laws, damage things etc
while I agree with the idea, I find it a bit twisted that it's legal to escape jail whenever you want.

@@DanielRossellSolanes Well thats the difference with america. Every person has right to strive for freedom, thought state has still right to dentain you as punishment. But along as you don't break laws no body should be allowed to take away your right. In USA you don't have that right. And there is actually really small % of people who can escape without harming anyone or destroying property even in those countries where escaping is your right.
Lmaooo they pulled this again 4 seasons later with someone having fear of pigeons, and Jane pulls one out of his sleeve...

This isn't from season 2 though and it isn't episode 6. This is the opening episode of Season 4. This is the episode where he's in jail for killing a fake Red John.

In the first episode of the fourth season, Patrick Jane gets out of prison by bailing himself out with money he won at poker inside the prison.
In this episode (2x06) Patrick ends up in jail because Sam Bosco caught him spying with a microchip.
