I'd love to be a writer for a show like this. You get paid to learn niche facts and occasionally write a pun like, "and the gas barbeque became a /hot/ commodity."

Hopefully, you could do a more imaginative job. A lot "He" followed by their actions were repeated while describing the steps, in this video; while the video is interesting, a more imaginative way of describing the steps would have been appreciated.

Yeah, I looked up the prices. Some of these cost as much as a professional range from Viking or Wolf. Now I'm no engineer but that seems a bit off to me. How can a simple grill cost the same as a complicated 48" range? Oh right, because dumb @sses will pay that for one.

@@twistedbunny The car brand company or the aerospace engine company? The car brand - absolutely. There's no reason for it's existence other that providing luxury toys for the worst people on earth. Don't know what's the working conditions there (probably not bad), but i'm pretty sure most of the guys working there wish they had the extra money to afford one.
The aerospace company on the other hand, is a pretty good company and most of us in the western world used or will use one of their products in our life time, meaning - The workers get to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Can you see the difference?

@@StanislavG. I'll elaborate, even other workers with more professional roles at other big companies don't necessarily have the funds to purchase that grill, it's more about priorities in this case, buy an $8,000 grill then what?, They most definitely have kids to feed, school, shelter, clothe...yk...in fact it's not that they can't afford it, but they just wouldn't do it rn. And to be quite frank, not unless I'm flipping rich, i too wouldn't go for it. My general point here is priority really

I wonder what the benefit of those burners are. I got a cheap char broil grill with "anti flare up infrared" tech which is essentially a giant metal bowl over the burners. I've had worse flareups on that grill than any other because all the grease pools in the middle. Whole BBQ lights up with massive flames that are hot as shit and any food inside will get burnt in seconds.

    • @aaronlimitless

That's a myth btw. People say charcoal ads a smoky flavor, but that's incorrect - Charcoal has no scent to it (it's carbon), it's the burning fat that does it. In a blind test you wouldn't know the difference. What does makes a difference is the use of wet wood chips to add the right smokiness to the meat, but you can do that with a gas grill too.
As a long time fan of charcoal grills, i now actually prefer the gas ones - they heat up uniformly and you have greater control over the temp.
