Plenty of times in the show, it's shown that she does care for her own children a lot. I'm sure she's just tending to her nephew because he's a weak little nerd who gets easily bruised, since she knows her son is strong enough to handle himself.
And then you actually have Cousin Kyle entering to fight ocassionally. And I love how just everyone gets pissed whenever he enters the fray. You know you're annoying when even Butters reacts with pure annoyance upon seeing you.
I loved how difficult this battle was when you turn up the difficult. Losing a character or two can cause a snowball effect, making the fight unwinnable.
You got REALLY lucky on this boss, if you don't stop Sheila after a certain amount of health is left she goes bat shit crazy, gets stronger, and even attacks every other turn!
That's actually not luck, it happens the first time you hit either of the Kyles. In this fight the player took down Sheila before hitting either of them, so she never went into rage mode.

Also you can completely ignore Human Kite as you're only required to take out Sheila and the Cousin and the fight will be over
It's not really that hard to beat her in Maximum jersey mode as long as you keep your distance. Heck sometimes she won't even attack you which you can use as an advantage

I played the game on diabolic level and I end up beating it. But Kyle mom boss fight is literally the only fight I had to lower the difficulty for. The game was letting her attack too many times and she'll wipe out my team.

Here's a little cheat for the fight that will save you a lot of time: If you save your timefart all the way to the fight with Kyle's mom, meaning you do not deploy any timefart during the Kyle Schwartz fight, you can cancel Kyle Schwartz's first turn where he shields himself at 1 health, and thus can immediately kill him with a ranged attack. This is really useful, not only is Kyle Broflovski not summoned until you attack his mom, you never have to deal with Kyle Schwartz AOE attacks. Kyle's mom will get enraged and get her overly excessive turns as usual, but now you have more room to separate Kyle from his mom so he can't shield her.
This is my favorite fight in the game, not only does the fight have 2 phases but I like how it also has you fight Kyle and his mom. Plus the remix of Kyle’s mom is hilarious and one of my favorite songs from this game. And then when she goes into her rage the battle gets even more serious. Truly the best fight in my opinion
