A detonation mechanism is far different then any computer wiring you may have seen. most of the times its simple but has failsafe that detonantes the bomb right away incase tempering occurs. (its as simple as having two wires or two buttons) this is the reason they have a Bomb Squad whose sole purpose is to defuse the bomb while its active.
