A lot of people are critical of late-era Mulligan and O'Hare, and it's hard to argue that the classic run of albums of Tittybiscuits to Pancake Day are anything but their creative peak, but you know what, Caravan Park has a certain charm to it which those records don't have, and it's great to see that they're still hungry enough to continue to develop their sound into the 21st century and keep up with the musical trends of Gen Z. A triumphant return to form imo.
I agree. This was clearly their masterpiece. A culmination of a life's work as art in the responding to and the interpretation of the socio-economic environment these two fine artistes exposed themselves to. Even though the allegations made against them were proven in court to be untrue, they never made anything better. They left us with this, their finest hour. "Stunning." Q Magazine. "Makes Van Morrison's Astral Weeks irrelevant." Mojo Magazine. "Unbelievable live." Lancashire Folk Singing Society.
''I'm not sayng I didn't kill you, but aren't you partially to blame, you gave me chocolate digestives when you knew I prefered the plain.'' - ''I'm not Saying'' By Mulligan and O'Hare, two of the greatest songwriters to ever grace the Old Nag's head pub in Flitwick.
I rank this as 58th on my favourite Mulligan and O'Hare albums list. Below such classics as "Nigel And His Seven Trampolines" and "The Dentist Chair Never Tells A Soul", but above the later Death Metal era, despite "Slaughtered Battered Sausage" being a very fine standout.
Omg totally forgot about Mulligan and O’Hare, and have been humming Tippy Toes and would legitimately buy Caravan Park! Vic and Bob are pure comedy genius, and I would watch them on tv in the early 1990s. Thanks for uploading and keeping the legend alive!
I found myself singing "My Rose has left me" at work the other night. Luckily I work alone as not everyone can comprehend the pain and pathos of this paen to lost love.....The adulterous cow!

They aren't fit to lick the boots of Milligan and O'Leary - clearly some copyright infringement going on here, "The Horse Reared Up" is clearly a derivative of "The Pony Pranced Over Me". "Tippytoes" is almost an exact copy of the classic "Sneaky feet Pete and his banjo loving Dog" Sad, modern music isn't what it once was.
There was Matthew, but in the case of "The Pony Pranced Over Me" Mr O'Hare and Mr Mulligan bought the rights to the song from Mr O'Leary (RIP Mr Milligan who died whilst trying to tie his boot laces) for five quid and a bottle of cheap Aldi plonk. And as for "Sneaky feet Pete and his banjo loving Dog", fuck knows. I concur my good man, modern music is cack.

The Horse Reared Up will soon become a classic. Whenever I drop my sandwich this song will give me hope.
This song always gives hope. Even in the darkest hours..

Our brother Barry is my favourite song they have ever done.
A timeless classic Gary!

It's the tiny details that get me (as well as the great, huge obvious ones) such as Bob having one trouser leg longer than the other. 😅😅

Still much better than modern music.

Gone are the days of happy music and funny comedy 😢 everything got so serious now it sucks
Indeed my friend, now we are stuck with woke 'comedy' and Micheal McIntyre.
😢 Even Bradley Walsh seems funny

Just fucking brilliant.
Did anyone else think of the song "Horse Reared Up" during the Coronation?
Funny think is Bob with a beard looks so like Noel Edmonds 😉
Completely bonkers but brilliant. Thank you Vic and Bob.

1:09, Vic would make a decent Death Metal vocalist.
"he's looking for honey!!!"
Our brother Barry, real potential.
Damn shame, such talent lost at an early age. God bless.

You can see Vic is about to lose it right at the end of The Horse Reared Up 😂
Aye,😂🤣😂
Love that come on I'm just thinking about ready for love😅
I feel that “When the Horse Reared Up” could be the new “Two Little Boys” by Rolf Harris.
If I didn't already love Mulligan and O'Hare, I would have to since they were instrumental for me stumbling upon the amazing thing that is Cardiacs.
My favourite is the "summer of 85" classic.
Nyarr!
Pure genius.
Absolute quality! 😅
Some catchy numbers. Must get the album.
It's well worth it. I haven't stopped listening to it and I am 104 years old.
Bought a copy for myself and for Christmas presents. Some laughter some tears; it has it all.
