@@Peri-mylifeinateacup your photos of Oxford brought back memories of an overnight stay at the Randolph many moons ago. While the hotel epitomises grandeur downstairs that's lost on its 'budget' single rooms upstairs. I've never stayed in such a teeny tiny room in such a grand setting. Lovely but squished! Imagine such rooms were part of the servant quarters back in the day!

I used to live in Little Milton, so not far from Oxford City, I now live in West Devon - where are you in the West Country, as I have only just come across your You Tube channel yesterday? I'm in south west Scotland. Honestly it doesn't normally rain as much as our weather reputation, but this year has been rubbish so far.
