How lovely, your going Purple again. Exciting to see the finished boat with handprints flowers 💐. I'm do feel that society is of the attitude its all about themselves, but I do feel the longer I'm on the water floating around the canals on my tod, the less tolerant of people and busy places. And yep still haul, lug drag, carry, do locks, lock flights, bridges and anything else and it does keep you fit and a gym workout !
Thanks Helen, don’t know why I didn’t keep my beautiful GillyFlower purple when I re-painted a couple of years ago! Like you I do think this wonderful way of life, off grid, really does make us less tolerant, coz we see it all from a different prospective! Keep hauling that boat and keeping your strength up! I often find older men in supermarkets really don’t consider anyone else around them. They are single minded in getting to the item, standing in the way and fussing over their wives about what they are buying. It drives me insane. A friend once said, the older I get, the more I like animals rather than people and I can see now what she means! Ooh a little rant 😂. I have to rise above it though and try and be patient and kind but there are limits and being physically pushed is not OK. I love my TV, sad I know but grateful to have so many good channels and watch YT on it, I would get a really flat screen and set yourself up nicely for winter. Loving your videos x

But couldn’t agree more about liking animals more than humans 😂 so yes it’s getting all the fuel supplies in for winter now and putting door/hatch covers on ready to snuggle down for the winter.
