I was a support worker for young adults with autism many years ago there used to be a lot of prejudices in the community hopefully the more brave people talk about the challenges and everyday life with autism the more comfortable and understanding we all can become .Well done Zoe xx ❤
Zoe, Thank you for sharing your feelings on Autism with your fans, I can see how difficult that must have been. My 25-year-old son has autism (I think I have mentioned this once before). It is also in our family to different degrees. I feel I have something, but back in my younger days, it was never really looked into and I am now nearly 62. So I try and get on with this as hard as that is. I have learned to accept myself as different now, years ago I just felt like I was stupid or backward as they used to say, but I'm better now. You carry on being you Zoe, you are a wonderful lady, you bring joy to many who watch your channel. Sending you lots of Love.

When you and Jill were talking about the traits of autism you have, you were also describing my other half! (On top of that, she also has OCD!) Each person is unique and I don’t believe there is a “normal”. We all have our quirks - I can’t bear to be touched but I do hug people when I think they need one - how odd is that! We should all learn to accept each other as individuals which doesn’t mean we have to like everyone (but that would be nice). Thanks again for explaining about your autism. Hi Zoe, you're not weird it's the NT's who are 😂😂😂. I'm Autistic too. We have started our vanlife journey yet are waiting on house selling. I do have some videos about my experience of Autism on the channel if you want to watch them. If we meet on the road at some point, we can have a we chat. I learned to look at the spot between people's eyes or just above their eyebrows this gives them the impression of eye contact. Then I can just look up and away if it gets to much (which it always does) but people have always said I'm weird, snobby, standoffish, stuck up, rude. I now accept myself, and I am openly Autistic don't get me wrong, I still mask. it's hard to undo years of masking. But I am trying. Be kind to yourself and stop worrying about what others think that's a them issue, not yours. The world is not geared towards us because there's not as much of us at NTs. Take care sweetie ❤❤

Good morning, hope the wind hasn't picked up too much on the coast. Zoe am I correct in that you haven't had an official diagnoses? If so I would recommend as a friend of ours did at the age of 50 and it helped him extremely. One negative as people who like a free park up in our motohome. We where extremely dissapointed to see chairs and awnings out in the carpark your staying. Another one the local will get shut down with such behaviour
Hi thankyou for your concern . We dont condone chairs out but this is a strange one as the car park is not in use at moment with baths shut . When it reopens next month I'm sure it will change . The chairs were respectfully only out when tom Jones was on as a few car drivers also came up and sat outside . During the day they are all put away . We also use the Marsden pub on the car park most days .So in this instance we was ok with it and only done it once for two hours listening to the concert . However on the sea front it's a different matter with bbqs out etc and in public view a lot more . Hope that helps ❤️
