New Years Eve Coffs Coast Spanish Mackerel

For the last day of 2021, i wanted to have a sneaky paddle, out to my local grounds knowing the water was cooking, (24degrees) stormy weather with nice south west light winds, i had a good chance at hooking a pelagic fish.
hour and half went by then boom, rod went down...
after the first run i turned my gopro on to film my battle, i new it was a Spanish!!
going 130cm on the bragmat.
