Have you seen the proposed EU directive. That cars of 15 years old will be banned from being repaired and will be scrapped. They are coming for our cars

That's bollox. No way that's happening, and they'll not be getting my cars one way or another.

@@Endfloat It will probably be any MOT failure for brakes, steering or welding. Then car will not be registered to drive with fines issued until it is scrapped. That way they get their revenue as well as cars. Imagine the impact to restorers, mechanics and spares suppliers.
